family tree to a native American — that you, too, are an immigrant.

• Immigrants seem to be hard-working, honest, decent, family-oriented people 

• illegal immigrants don't have a big impact on U.S. wage rates

Bad• It hurts the economy• Makes people Lose Jobs• Over Crowding in the U.S• They don’t pay income or

property tax• Economists speculate

that for the average high-school dropout, that would mean about a $25 a week raise if there were no job competition from immigrants.
