“She sent in her blog with a lot oflustrations. I believe my son was aource of inspiration for her whenhe penned her digital illustration,”aid Zaim.
Niki Cheong, a blogger since 2003,aid he thoughthis entrywas appro-riate because of his column in Thetar, the Bangsar Boy.
“I took an hour to drive aroundndtake pictures ofthe placesI usedo visit as a child. Everytime I passedy a place and remembered fond
memories, I stopped and took pic-ures of it,” he said.
The other winners includedarbara Mckay from Australia forhe International category and Yeow
Minyi for the Junior category.Federal Territories and Urban
Wellbeing MinisterDatuk RajaNongChik Raja Zainal Abidin said the blogwas created to have a positivepproach towards blogging.
“We got more than 4,000 entries
and 300,000 page views, out ofwhich 24% were from overseas. Ibelieve it is a big success. This willhelppromote Kuala Lumpur, Labuanand Putrajaya to the world,” saidNong Chik.
He also said many of the entriesfocused on KL, possibly because ofthe big population.

Rocky), Tan Sri Elyas Omar, Tan SriLim Kok Wing and Datuk Seri TonyFernandes.
