i'm dead in red
DESCRIPTION
A poem by Bernadette Corporation & Allen GinsbergTRANSCRIPT
RED, GOLD AND GREEN ARE THE COLORS OF BC,
I’M DEAD IN RED.
I have become another childI wake to see the world go wildPlanets crashed into each other Mars our nearest neighborA vision of earth’s future, a big satanic heart. This must be the finale. Advise only myselfDon’t drink yourself to death.
What do I have to looseif America Falls? My body, my neck, my personality? I lose my patience in the worldand I seek a much different musicthan the monotony of my own individualLose It
What do we say to ourselvesin bed at night, making no sound?
Death is very terryfying. What is you is now broken. What was you cannot be found.Try not to think about it.
When I die
I don’t care what happens to my bodyElan that lifts me above the cloudsinto pure space, timeless, yea eternalbut where’s it come from? The muses drawing breath for you? God?Nah, don’t believe it, you’ll get entangled in Heaven or Hell. Who kills you, is you. This is someone who is waiting for you and you only.
New York is a very big cityWith millions of soundsit’s lively To be aliveis such an opportunity I live here in the wildernessawake, and at home.
The tides of time, sweep stains away! Now mind is clearas a cloudless sky. unattainable desire ...how sad, no way to change the mad cultivated asphodel, the visible reality... Look up at the tunnel that we are flying through with great, passing feelingI wish to forget you. So long.
