EduBeam – IT Enabled Classrooms

• Valuable’s EduBeam solution was launched with installation of 14 MMRDA school in Thane district for the first Pilot.

• The solution is under consideration by MMRDA for their ambitious project of IT Enabling Villages, to raise the overall Human Development Index, by providing • Education (elementary, middle school and higher education) • Training (vocational courses, crop and farming related) • Healthcare (remote diagnosis and treatment of patients in villages by specialists in cities)

• Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai in a pilot phase launched the EduBeam solution in schools across all its wards in Mumbai (24 wards) • Instructors are conducting classroom sessions for school children • To be used for tutorials and lectures for the SSC students – preparations towards board

examinations • Under the system, all the municipal schools are connected through satellite. It will be used across

all English, Urdu, Marathi and Hindi medium schools.

EduBeam – IT Enabled Classrooms

• Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai after successful implementation of the Pilot project floated tenders on DBO basis for operating 80 Virtual Training Centers in schools across Mumbai

• Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai have set up of two clusters with 40 Virtual Training Centers connected to each studio.

• Valuable Edutainment participated & qualified in the open tender and has completed roll out of the 80 Virtual Training Centres. Classroom sessions are being conducted by MCGM teachers for standard X students in

Marathi, Hindi, English & Urdu medium MCGM teachers are provided training on all aspects of delivering and interacting with live

audience on a satellite network MCGM teachers are also using innovative teaching aids like ‘Smart Board’ which will engage

students with visually appealing content. MCGM teachers are also trained in using the ‘Smart Board’ and operating the equipment

installed at the classroom level • MCGM in Phase II has connected 400 new schools to 2 more studios in FY 2013-14.
