TODAY’S READINGS First Reading — Abraham and Sarah show hospitality to mes-sengers of the LORD (Genesis 18:1-10a). Psalm — He who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord (Psalm 15). Second Reading — Paul speaks of the stewardship given to him to complete the word of God, the mystery hidden from ages past (Colossians 1:24-28). Gospel — Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. Mary has chosen the better part (Luke 10:38-42).

Baptism Classes & Baptism Dates

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Register in the Parish office M–F 9am-1pm & 2pm-5:30pm. Parents must provide a copy of the child’s State Birth Certifi-cate. Godparents must meet the following requirements: must be at least 16 yrs. old, only one male or one female or one of each sex permitted, must be Catholic with all sacraments (Baptism, Communion, Confirmation and Marriage by the Church if married). Both parents and Godparents are re-quired to attend a Baptism preparation class prior to the Baptism Celebration. If you have any questions please call the Parish office.

2. IHM YOUTH GROUP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED The youth group is looking for anyone who may be interested in working with the youth of our parish between the ages of 8–16 yrs old. Our goal is to promote a safe environment to those kids who are looking for a way to express their faith through group activities, sharing, prayer and reflection. 3. VOLUNTEERS FOR IHM FESTIV@L R@FFLE S@LES July 23rd-24th we are in need of volunteers to sell IHM Festival raffle tickets at St. Matthew’s Church. 4. FUNDR@ISER D@NCE August 6th from 6pm-Midnight we will be having a Fundraiser Dance. All proceeds will go towards our 2016 Festival funds. Tickets are $5 per person. Live music by the Two Tight Band. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. There will also be several raffle drawings for Bottles throughout the night. ***El 6 de Agosto de 6pm-12am vamos a tener un Baile. Todos los ingresos serán para los fondos del Festival 2016.
