Conclusion • This paper has considered some opportunities

for using open source software within Sudharsan Engineering College could provide benefit to the users. Students are more interested in using Library. Both students and staff members feel good at timing and open sources for using digital library. Both users are using the Open sources like Web Mail and GLPI are using frequently. But TELNET and My SQL is not popularized among the users. Some students have never used web mail due to less reliability and lack of awareness among them

Suggestion

• Library Staff members and other staff members from all the departments of Sudharsan Engineering College have to create further more awareness on open sources to the students.

• Management has to confirm the students that the web mail is reliable to use.
