One day last term when I was walking down the hallway, Ms. Ya ma called me into her o ce and asked me to be the host for the talent show. This was three days before the show, and also during the me of the year when there were a lot of tests, including math tests! In my mind, I was thinking that I would have to write the script, rehearse for the show, prepare for the big math test, and keep up with a bunch of other homework as well. I thought, Theres no way I can be the MC. I dont even have me to rehearse with my group! But, as no one else wanted to do it, I accepted the o er. I had to write the script, not only for me but for my MC partner Juseong as well! Then I rewrote it, printed it out, corrected some grammar, rewrote it (again!), and nally printed the nal copy. When we had our big rehearsal, some people had to go home early and we couldnt get a perfect run-through, which was very di cult for us. Since this was my rst year to help organize it, I wanted the older grades and teachers to see that even though Im s ll young, I can organize a Talent Show for the whole MYP. As it turned out, the show was nice but couldve been even be er if I we all had more me to prac ce. To tell the truth, it was the most stressful week ever! Every day when I went home I always had more work than my friends and it was very hard for me because I didnt really have anyone to give me advice. But nally we all got through it and Im very proud of all of us.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who par cipated the show, the judges, and the CIS sta . If not for all of you, I wouldnt have had the strength to work hard for the show. Even though it was a ring event to organize, I really had fun and Im looking forward to the next Talent Show! :)
