Outreach trainingWORKING WITH ATHLETES FOR ATHLETES
Guidance on Education, Life Skills and Career Training for athletes is delivered in countries beyond Adecco’s global footprint and touches on countries that have no active Programme in place.
Outreach training workshops include:
• Self reflection• Find your passion• Establish a game plan
for transition• Advice on how to
build support networks
• CV creation and job interview training
To share knowledge globally, with elite athletes from diverse cultures and backgrounds is beneficial for NOCs, Federations and the entourage. We cooperate to make athletes achieve their best.
Outreach training is delivered by:
• Active athletes• Retiring athletes• Former athletes• IOC Athletes’
Commission Members
• IOC & Adecco representatives

Outreach trainingPROUD PARALYMPIAN
Outreach training for Paralympians in cooperation with the ‘Proud Paralympian’ has been introduced in 2015. Two workshops took place already, one in Egers, Hungary and one in Rio, Brazil. The Outreach through the ‘Proud Paralympian’s activities during Championships or training camps create a perfect opportunity to reach many athletes, introducing them to the IPC Athlete Career Programme.
“Exchanging experiences in the practical training was really valuable. I enjoyed getting to know athletes from different countries outside of competition. The training reinforced how important it is for me to finish high school and also gave me some new tools to prepare my CV, tips to look for a job and attract a sponsor,” said Argentinian powerlifter Lucas Gareca.
Outreach training Egers, Hungary, in November 2015

• From 10 countries in Europe and Latin America
Outreach training Rio, Brazil in January 2016
