Address: Office of Admissions, Incoming Transcripts, 1 Harpst Street, Arcata, CA 95521

You must make arrangements with your high school for this document to be sent. Make arrangements early if your high school will be closed for summer.

You can find out if we’ve received your transcript/test scores on your myHumboldt homepage (my.humboldt.edu).

Did you earn college credit in high school? Official college transcripts showing all grades through Spring 2021 must also be received on this date. If you completed Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) exams, or college coursework, your official scores and/or college transcripts showing all grades/scores through Spring 2021 must also be received by this date.

*Failure to meet these deadlines may result in the cancellation of your application.

Very Important Reminders You must meet all admission requirements, by the deadlines listed, or your admission will

    be denied.

Regularly log into myHumboldt and check your To Do List to see any additional documents or actions required.

HSU uses email as the official form of communication. It is your responsibility to read all emails from HSU. If you ever need to update your email address with HSU, you may do so in the Personal Information section of your myHumboldt homepage.

You will not be allowed to “make up” coursework during the summer. For example, if you get a ‘D” in English (or any other required course) in your senior year, and you no longer meet the minimum requirement for that subject area, we may deny your admission—you cannot take a summer course to make up any deficiencies.

Many applicants are provisionally admitted on the basis of self-reported courses, grades, and test scores. If your final official transcripts and test scores show that you do not meet the requirements for admission, your admission will be denied. If you know you will not meet all of your admission requirements, contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options.

Students are required to provide immunization records before attending HSU: wellbeing.humboldt.edu/immunizations

HSU is impacted at the freshmen level and may use supplemental admissions criteria to admit first-time freshmen. For more information on freshmen impaction, please visit: admissions.humboldt.edu/apply/impaction
