2. Terms & Conditionsa)Booth/Spaceshallonlybereservedforamaximumof7daysuponreceiptofthisRegistrationForm.

b)Yourregistrationand/orreservationfortheBooth/SpaceshallonlybeconfirmedandbeconsideredvaliduponreceiptofthePurchaseOrderand/ordulysignedTaxInvoiceand/orallthenecessarypayment(s),failingwhichtheorganizershallhavetheabsolutediscretiontodealwiththesaidreservedBooth/Spaceasitdeemedfitincludingbutnotlimitedtoreleasingthesametoothers.

c)Theorganizershallhavetheabsolutediscretiontoamendthefloorplanlayout,includingthereallocationoftheexhibitor’sBooth/Space.

d)Actualexhibitionlayoutmaydifferfromtheillustrationinthefloorplan.

e)BysubmittingthisRegistrationForm,theexhibitorisdeemedtohavereadandagreedtoalltermsandconditionsand/orrulesandregulationsstatedhereinandthoseintheExhibitorKit.

3. PurposeTheBooth/Spacewillbeusedbytheexhibitorforthesolepurposeofpromotingthegoods/servicesstatedintheapplicationform.

4. SublettingTheExhibitormustnottransfer,disposeof,partwithorotherwisesubletthewholeoranypartofhis/hersite,whetherforfinancialconsiderationorotherwise.TheExhibitormust,ifheisanagent,distributororlicensee,stateatthetime

ofcontractthenameortheprincipaltobepresented.

5. Limitation of LiabilitiesTheOrganiser,theirservantsoragentsshallnotbeliable/responsiblefor;•ThesafetyofExhibitors,theirservants,agents,contractorsorinviteesduringtheexhibition.•Exhibits,articlesoranyotherpropertybroughtintotheexhibitionbyExhibitors,theirservants,agents,contractororinviteesormemberofthepublic.•Restrictionforanyconditionswhichpreventtheconstruction,erection,completion,alterationordismantlingofboothortheentrysightingofremovalofexhibits,orforthefailureofanyservicesoramenitiesbythehallownerorthirdparties.

6. Exhibitor InsuranceExhibitormustmakesuretheyarefullyinsuredbutnotrestrictedto,allriskontheirproperty,exhibitsorarticlesofanykind,publicliabilityandcomprehensiveprotectionagainstanylossordamagescausedbyanycircumstanceswhatsoeverwhetherbyreasonoffire,water,theft,accidentoranyothernaturalcalamitiescausewhatsoever.Alltheirtemporarystaffandthestaffservants,agents,contractorsareinsuredagainstclaimsforworkman’scompensation.TheperiodforwhichsuchinsuranceshallmaintainedshallrunfromthetimetheExhibitororanyofhisservant,agents,contractorfirstentertheexhibitiongrounds,andtocontinueuntilhehasvacatedtheexhibitiongroundsandallhis/herexhibitsandpropertyhavebeenremoved.

7. Promotion During ExhibitionExhibitorsareremindednottoplaceanysortofpromotionalmaterialsanywhereinthehallotherthanwithintheirownboothspace.Likewise,Exhibitors’representative(s)maynot

distributebrochures,invitations,etc.alongthewalkwayornearentrances/exits.MaterialdistributionandsalescanvassingarestrictlyconfinedtotheExhibitor’sboothareaonly.

8. Security and SafetyExhibitorandtheirstaffarenotallowedtoloiterintheexhibitionhallafterexhibitionhours.Allpersonnelintheexhibitionhallmustwearidentificationpassesatalltimes.ExhibitorpassandContractorpassescanbeobtainedattheexhibitionServiceCounter.Securityguardspatrolwillnotbeprovided,buttheexhibitionwillbelockedbytheOfficialContractoruponeachclosingday.TheExhibitorwillberesponsibleforthesecurityoftheirrespectiveexhibit,personalbelongingandboothspace.

9. Exclusion of LiabilityTheExhibitoracceptsallrisksassociatedwiththeuseoftheexhibitionspaceandenvironment.TheExhibitorshallnotmakeanyclaimordemandortakeanylegalaction,whatsoever,againsttheOrganiserorthevenueauthorityinwhichtheexhibitionisheld,foranyloss,damage,orinjurywhatsoevercausedtotheExhibitororitsofficers,agents,employeesortheirproperty.

10. Payment Termsa)Fullpaymentshallbemadewithin7daysfromtheissuanceoftheTaxInvoice.

11. Exhibition OperationGeneralhalllightingandairconditioningwillbeswitchedon1hourbeforeexhibitionopensandswitchedoff30minutesaftertheexhibitionclosesthroughoutthewholeperiodexceptfor

setupanddismantlingperiod.Allactivitiesanddisplayitems(model,buntingstand,etc.)conductedbyExhibitors,mustbewithinthecontractedexhibitspaceonly.ExhibitorsaretoensureallactivitiesmustnotbeofannoyanceandcausingharmorinjurytoneighboringExhibitor,Visitorsandtothevenuefixtureandfittings.Fireexitsandhosereelareamustbeclearedofanystructures/item.Donotleaveboothunattendedduringexhibitionoperationhours.TheOrganiserwillnotbeheldresponsibleforanylossof/damagestoexhibitsthroughouttheexhibition.

12. Setting Up & DismantlingExhibitormustcomplystrictlytothescheduledtimeforset-upanddismantling.

13. Removal of ExhibitTheExhibitoragreesthatnodisplaywillbedismantledorgoodsremovedduringtheentirerunoftheshow,butwillremainintactuntiltheendofthefinalhourofthelastshowday.TheExhibitoralsoagreestoremoveitsdisplayandtheequipmentfromtheexhibitionsitebythefinalmove-outtimelimit,orintheeventoffailuretodosotheExhibitoragreestopayforsuchadditionalcostasmaybeincurred.

14. Cancellation by the Organisera)Theorganizershallinformexhibitorofitsintentiontocanceltheeventinwritingbywayofemailand/orfacsimile.

b)IntheeventthatKarnivalRumahMalaysiaiscancelledorrescheduledforanyreasonswhatsoeverbeyondthecontroloftheorganizer,theorganizerwillnotberesponsibleforanylossofbusiness,lossofprofits,damageorexpensesofanynaturethattheexhibitormaysuffer.Insucheventuality,thereshallbenorefundofallthemoneypaid.

c)Iftheorganizercancelstheeventatitsown

accordpriortothecommencementoftheevent,theorganizershallrefundtotheexhibitorallthemoneypaidfreeofinterest.

15. Cancellation by the Exhibitora)Theexhibitorshallinformtheorganizerofitsintentiontocancelitsparticipationinwritingbywayofemailorfacsimile.

b)Intheeventthesaidcancellationwasmade60daysorlessbeforetheeventdate:

(i)intheeventfullpaymenthasbeenmade,theorganizershallbeentitledtoforfeitallthesumpaid(“ForfeitureSum”);(ii)intheeventfullpaymenthasnotbeenmade,theorganizershallbeentitledtoforfeitallthesumpaid,ifany,andtheexhibitorshallforthwithpaythedifferencebetweenthesumforfeitedherein,ifany,andtheForfeitureSum.

c)Theexhibitorshallbeliabletopaylatepaymentinterestonalloutstandingamountattherateof1.5%permonthcalculatedonadailybasisfromtheduedateuntilthedateoffullsettlement.

d)Intheeventthatlegalproceedingsisnecessaryfortheorganizertorecoveranymoneydueandpayablebytheexhibitor,theexhibitorshallfullyindemnifyallthelegalcostand/oranyothercostordisbursementwhatsoeverwhichshallbeincurredbytheorganizer.

16. PhotographyTheOrganiserreservestherightstophotographanyexhibitduringexhibition.ThesephotographsremainthepropertyoftheOrganiserandmaybeusedforcommercial/promotionpurposeinfuture.

17. Music, Sound and NoiseWhileExhibitorsareallowedtodisplaymultimediapromotionalmaterialattheirspace,itisunderstoodthatthevolumetobekeptareasonablylowlevelinordernottocauseanydisruptiontoothersurroundingExhibitors.

Promotion and Usage of Karnival Rumah Malaysia’s LogoTheExhibitormayexecuteadvertisementandpromotioncampaigninthemedia,usingKarnival Rumah Malaysia’slogo.Thelogocanbedownloadedfromthewebsite.Bydoingso,theExhibitoragreesnottomodify,reshapeoralterthelogoinanyway.

18. Electrical InstallationElectricalpowerpointssuppliedareusedforrunningequipment/exhibitonly.Multisocketpointsmaynotbefittedasitmaycauseanoverloadandtrippingorinsomecasesfire.Exhibitorwhoseexhibitsarefoundtohavebeenthecauseoftripsinpowersupplywillberesponsibleforallre-energisationcharges

19. Standard BoothBookingforeach9m/sq(10ftx10ft)ofstandardboothwillbeprovidedwith:Note:Nodiscountsonanyitemsreplace/omittedNodrilling,nailing,anyformofgraffitiorpaintingonboothstructureareallowed.ExhibitorswhowishtodoanychangestotheboothmustfirstobtaintheOrganiser’sconsent.Shouldtherebedamagestothestructures,itwillbebilledtotherespectiveExhibitor.

Exhibitorsconstructing/decoratingtheirownboothareautomaticallyagreeinundertaking,guaranteeingresponsibilityforanydamagewhichmaybedonebyanyoftheiremployeesincludingappointedsub-contractorsattheexhibitionhall.

20. Cleaning / Debris RemovalDuringthebuildupandteardownperiods,Exhibitorsandtheircontactorswillberesponsiblefortheremovaloftheirownboothbuilding/dismantlingmaterialsanddebris.DebrismustnotbedepositedintoneighboringExhibitor’sboothspacenorvenue’sgarbageordisposalbins.Allconstructiondebrisfromthehallaftereachbuiltup/dismantlingmustbeclearedbeforetheofficialcleaningcontractortakesovertheresponsibility.

21. Rental of FurnitureAdditionalfurniturecanberentedatExhibitor’sowncostfromourOfficialContractor,pleasecontactdirectlyformoreinformation.Additionalsurchargeisapplicableforlastminute/onsiteorders.
