We are glad to present before you the 2018 edition of

PERI Scope. With over 70 subsidiaries and over 140 logistics

centers PERI continues to set standards in the industry as

world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of formwork and

scaffolding system. PERI India celebrates its successful

journey over a decade and continues to built a strong

customer base by offering distinct solutions for every

construction need.

With rapid urbanization, more and more high rise structures

and infrastructure development will be seen across India.

With implementation of RERA and Government impetus

on infrastructure, there is streamlining in construction

methodology and rush to complete project in time. Modern

PERI DUOThe lightweight formwork for universal application

PERI DUO received Best Innovation Machine award during bauma CONEXPO India 2016

DUO, a universal application formwork

system (single system for walls,

foundations, columns and slabs) is the

latest innovation in formwork industry

in India. It is seen as a potential

replacement for the conventional

formwork. Ergonomic in all aspects,

it offers time and labor cost saving,

along with high fl exibility. The system

ensures high productivity and reduces

requirement for skilled labor at site.

Being a lightweight formwork system,

it is crane independent and has

intuitive application. The formwork

is manufactured from robust techno

polymer and offers virtually tool-free

assembly. Techno polymers are shrink

free, develop no moisture expansion

and do not rust.

All these features make the DUO

formwork system very benefi cial when

compared to conventional formwork

systems, as they not only enhance

the life of the product but also ensure

maximum repetition.

Surat Diamond Bourse, a company

by diamond barons has established a

new bourse at Surat, Gujarat. The hub

will have 22 iconic and interconnected

buildings of more than 15 fl oors and

house more than 10,000 offi ces.

Once constructed, it will be world's

largest diamond bourse.

PSP projects was awarded fi rst phase

of this iconic project with 9 towers.

than 15,000 m² of MULTIFLEX system

was offered for slab and beams.

PERI UP MI shoring system of more

than 7,000 m² area is used for con-

structing slabs for the project. Beam

thickness of up to 1.50 m was casted

with PERI UP MI. The shoring solution

was done with MULTIFLEX.

Residences is a new luxury develop-

ment of 50 stories in the heart of the

capital city. Drawing inspiration from

the rich architectural history of Sri

Lanka, the ITC Colombo One Hotel and

Residences provides a contemporary

luxury experience, while incorporating

elements of local Sri Lankan architec-

ture and vernacular practices. ICC

was looking for fast and economical

solution to meet their budget and

construction schedule. It was a fast

track project with timeline of 18 months.

The client wanted to complete the project

without compromising on safety, qua-

lity and time. PERI provided complete

solution for core wall, columns and

shear wall to adhere project timelines

and budget. Solution with system

formwork carrying boom placer was

provided for the fi rst time in Sri Lanka.

Boom Placer was attached with

PERI ACS system, and ACS system

was carrying 15 metric ton weight of

boom placer without crane that saved

huge time in lifting the boom placer

separately.

Rupa Renaissance has come up with

three building project in Navi Mumbai.

It consists of 5 star hotel, 31 storey IT

park & service apartment with 5 star

amenities. IT park tower was built with

in 4 different core areas which are non-

composite. Deck sheet slab makes fast

slab erection but cores were needed to

move ahead of slab at fast pace. Core

area was around 900 m². PERI SCS

climbing system was adopted for speed

of construction. PERI provided solution

for core areas with SCS climbing system

and BR shaft platform with VARIO wall

panels. PERI provided 32 BR platforms

and 20 SCS units for the project.

Sands Infra, the IT wing of LuLu

Group International, is constructing a

30-storeyed IT tower at SmartCity,

Kochi. Once built, it will be tallest

IT building in the Kerala state. The site

area is spread across 12.74 acre and

the buildup area is 3.6 million ft2.

It is built by TATA projects.

The project required to build core at

faster pace. Core needs to move ahead

of slab which was built in composite

structure.

SCS serves as a load-bearing structure for supporting

single-sided, non-tied or double-sided, anchored wall

formwork. The SCS Climbing System is characterized

by a high level of cost-effectiveness as the modular

concept with multi-piece brackets facilitates optimum

adaptation to suit project-specifi c requirements and

geometries.

Concreting and following platforms can be inclined at

±15° and ±30°. advanteges are large cranable climbing

units, material – optimized solution and safe horizontal

working areas.

Mr. Dilip Patel, Chief engineer:“Project involves more than 40 piers with more than 25 m height. We selected PERI RCS and VARIO system to get a faster cycle with higest safety. We achieved 3 day cycle for each pour with PERI system.”

NHAI has constructed a six

lane highway over Chambal

river. Project includes a total

of 43 Piers for bridge with

varying height of 27 m.

The project requires

construction of piers of

different heights. The Pier

size at bottom is 7500 mm

x 2500 mm and at top it

is 7000 mm x 2000 mm

(i.e reduction of 500 mm)

and semi-circular at both

ends. The site had limited

crane access as it spans

over a river.

The RCS combines the advantages of

different climbing systems in a modular

system and is used as climbing

formwork as well as a climbing

protection panel. Through the rail-guid-

ed climbing, the climbing unit is

securely connected to the building at

all times which makes the climbing

procedure fast and safe also in windy

conditions. The units are moved by

crane or by means of mobile climbing

hydraulics to the next section. RCS is

easily adapted to suit jobsite-specifi c

requirements.

Medanta medicity has come up

with super-speciality hospital at Patna.

The hospital would be opened in

public-private partnership mode on

the campus of Jai Prabha Hospital at

Kankerbagh. In phase one, the hospital

will come up with 300 beds facility

which will be further scaled up to

500 beds. Once built, this 10 fl oor

hospital will be one of the prestigious

hospital building in Patna.

They were looking for solution for

walls where thickness was ranging from

formwork system for walls and column

requirement. Gravity lock technology

of PERI UP MI ensures better econo-

Walls and columns height varying from

3.00 m to 4.05 m height are casted

with PERI formwork system.

Lulu group International has come up

with hyper mall project at Lucknow.

Once built it will be biggest mall of

North India. It is spread across more

than 20 lakh ft2. built up area. The mall

features more than 200 international

and national brands along with

11 screen multiplex, 2,500 seater

food court and more than 20 dining

restaurants.

KEF Infra is the contractor for the

project. They were looking for solution

of retaining wall for the project. They

also needed standardized formwork

system which can be used for their

future projects. Formwork solution

was required for wall length of 50 m

and thickness of 300 mm.

PERI provided solution with DUO

formwork system. The solution was

provided with 900 mm, 600 mm

width DUO panel and 450 mm DUO

multipanel. PERI supplied around

200 m² DUO with alignment system

for the project.

climbing system solution along with

edge protection system. Talib & Shamsi

Construction has been awarded the

contract to construct the building. In this

Vissanapete is a village in Krishna

district of the Indian state of Andhra

Pradesh. The road infrasture connecting

it has more than a kilometer long tunnel.

quickly by hand. PERI supplied more

than 300 m² DUO formwork system for

Concrete Show India 2018

PERI India participated in 6th edition

of UBM India’s Concrete show India in

May 2018 at Bombay Convention and

Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai

Construction Times awards is an annual award

and honors the best contribution in construction
