a) Director, MIMS, Mandya

Control/Administration / Guidance and decision 111 respect of MfMS teaching

hospital and the Institute.

b) Chief Administrative Officer, MIMS, Mandya

To guide and assist the Director in administration and regulating the work of MIMS

teaching hospital and the institute.

c) Financial Adviser

To act, guide and assist the Director in financial matters of MIMS teaching hospital

and institute.

d) Medical Superintendent, MIMS Teaching Hospital, Mandya

To discharge duty of overall administration / control of the teaching hospital and to

provide public service as per the instructions of the Director.

e) Professors and HODs

There are 21 Professors and HODs. Associate Professors / Assistant Professors!

Senior / Junior Resident Doctors / Tutors / Lab Technicians / Storekeeper Cum Clerk /

Lab Assistants and other Group D staff are working under them. They are supervising

the work of their respective departments i.e., curricular / extra curricular / clinical works

and arc assisting the Director in controlling the departments. They are assisting in the

matter of syllabus and examination in the interest of students. As regards clinical

departments they are discharging their work in the interest of patients / public and

totally they are assisting the Director in the development of the institute.

f) Principal:

The Principal looks after academic matters.

• g) Assistant Administrative Officer:

I) Office Superintendent»: Supervising the section under their control, discharge

duties as per the guidance of the Assistant Administrative Officer.

2) EST - I :Service Registers / Personal files of the teaching staff are being maintained

in this section. Leave / Annual increment / Fixation of pay and other service matters of

teaching staff are being attended in this section.

3) EST - 2 : Service matters of Non-teaching staff are being attended in this Section.

4) EST - 3 : Matters pertaining to outsource employees are being attended in this

section.

S) Accounts Section: Maintenance of salary of teaching / non-teaching staff, stipend /

scholarship of interns ! P.G. Students. Compliance of Provisions of income tax /

profession tax / GPF ! Group Insurance / Advance / T.A Bill / Medical reimbursement

of teaching / non-teaching staff. Maintenance of Accounts, Maintenance of Grants

released / allocated by the Government. Maintenance of DC bills / AC bills relating to

Finances / Maintenance of Cash Book as per Head of Accounts, Bank Passbook /

reconciliation / expenditures / MMR and maintenance and auditing of accounts in the

institute. - A.G Audit / C.A Audit

(1) Supply Section : Supply of essential (I) medical equipments, (2) drugs and (3)

stationery Items after procuring them on the basis of the indents received by the

respective departments.

7) Academic Section: Admission of U.G / P.G students, verification / maintenance of

documents. Correspondence with R.G.U.H.S & providing information. Sanction of

scholarship tuition fees and affiliation of the institute and postings of interns etc., and

conducting examinations.

8) Personal Section of the Director: Preparation of agenda of office meetings and

preparation of booklets relating to action taken. Providing information sought by the

Government / Higher Officers through internet and receipt of information. Maintenance

of letters received through fax, taking dictation by the Director and maintenance of

Director's personal Papers! Records.

9) Tapaal Section (Inward & Outward) : Receiving letters received from

Government / Staff! Public / Higher Officers / Students and distributing them to the

sections concerned under acknowledgement. Posting of letters received from case

workers to the address through post / courier and local delivery.

10) Computer Section: Maintenance of website.

• I I) Library : Providing reference books / Journals and Periodicals on the basis of

request by students and teaching staff / maintenance of books, journals and periodicals.

Staff maintenance / providing all facilities in the library for the purpose of the study by

students. Librarian will assist the Director in the matter of implementation of

instructions.

12) Wardens: Inspection and Maintenance of Hostels of boys' / Girls' in a proper /

efficient manner. Maintaining cleanliness in respect of food. Maintaining discipline and

keeping vigil over the activities of students. Supervision of security / cook. A lady

teaching staff would work as Assistant Warden for girls' hostel.
