NATIONAL GROUCH DAYNational Grouch Day is observed

annually on October 15. If you are agrouch, today is your special day.National Grouch Day was created forall grouches to Indulge their wayof life.

Sometimes grumps givebackhanded compliments. “Yourhouse looked horrible until youpainted it.” Sometimes they give thatglaring stare. Any type of silence andor sudden noise can trigger a Grump.

As per Merriam-Webster dictionary,a grouch is described as:

• a person who complainsfrequently or constantly

• a habitually irritable orcomplaining person

It seems that a grouch may behappy (although they would neveradmit it) only when others areunhappy and grouchy. It is then thatthey feel most comfortable withhaving others share in their grumpy, cantankerous, surly worldwith them.

National Grouch Day would be agood time to send a grouch e-card toa friend, whether they be a grouch ornot, to come on over, sit back, sharesome popcorn, relax and watch themovie Grumpy Old Men!
