The main reason I chose EdUHK is its resourceful platform that facilitates students’ learning in various but comprehensive ways. For instances, the university has provided us with opportunities of going for exchange programme overseas, attractive scholarships which not only allieviate students’ financial burden but also motivate students to strive harder in both academic and life achievement, and most importantly, the integration of theoretical and practical curriculum that focuses on students’ whole-person development. In addition, similar to my home country Malaysia, HK has always been a vibrant city like a melting pot of cultures with multiethnicities, so does the curriculum. Thanks to the internationalisation of EdUHK platform, it has expanded my peer network globally and internationally which also broadened my horizons by mutually being sensitive and aware to the differences of our cultures, traditions and values.

EdUHK is indeed a resourceful educational setting where you can pursue your tertiary education with its extensivity and inclusivity. From the broad butcomprehensive curriculum, patient and caring lecturers and professors, abundance of learning opportunities out of the campus, to the diversity of students in our school, I would highly recommend all walks of life to pursue your studies with EdUHK!

I had chosen EdUHK for my studies because it has well-structured programmes for students and it is ranked among the top universities for Education in Asia. I chose to study in Hong Kong because I had never been here before my studies and I felt the cultural immersion would be a meaningful experience for me. One of the major things I learned at EdUHK is the passion people have for education, which includes the teachers who model for us, our seniors who guide us, and our peers who inspire us to improve ourselves. They sometimes state this passion explicitly and other times implicitly, but either way, I continue to be amazed. I would recommend others to study here because there are plenty of things to learn during both intra- and extracurricular activities that could help one grow academically and socially.
