OEM FIT & DESIGN

Workshop 12 utilizes the latest technology to

design Brainiac

• 3D Laser scanning accurate to 40 microns

• Concept art created and shared with the community

7” UNIVERSAL FIT

Brainiac is also available as a standard universal fit

ISO double-din stereo replacement.

This unit is driven by a 7” capacitive touch screen

and provides the same functionality and

capabilities as the larger retrofit unit, just in a

smaller package.

Installation of Brainiac utilizes an existing

aftermarket stereo installation kit. The installation

procedure is the same as any other aftermarket

double-din stereo system.

GESTURE CONTROL

Utilize simple and easy gestures for common

tasks to reduce driver distraction

• Adjust your volume by swiping two fingers up or

down anywhere on the screen

• Move through tracks in your playlist or through

radio presets by swiping two fingers left or right

BUILT WITH ANDROID

Brainiac’s underlying operating system is Android,

which has been configured by Workshop 12 for use

in an automotive hardware environment.

Android’s ecosystem is filled with thousands of

apps such as Google Maps and Waze that can be

used with Brainiac.

Brainiac’s hardware has been integrated with

underlying Android operating system features

allowing for system suspension and quick resume

times when the vehicle’s power is cycled.

Software installation and upgrades are managed by

Google Play.

DATA LOGGING

Multiple sources of sensor data provide a rich

set of information for the driver

• Driver’s can opt-in for specific data they wish to

record

• OBDII data is available from the vehicle’s CANbus

• Brainiac also has many built-in sensors such as

GPS, Accelerometer, Gyro and a Magnetometer

• Drivers can record, share and review fuel economy

or performance data such as 0-60 times,

horsepower calculations and lateral G’s

IOT CLOUD SYNC

Drivers are able to sync their vehicle data to their

Brainiac cloud account for sharing, review and

analysis.

Syncing can be performed via the built-in WiFi

capability or through smartphone pairing.

Syncing data allows Brainiac to provide you with

predictive information about your commute,

current road conditions or if friends are nearby.

Achievements reached for fuel economy and

performance can earn you points to compete with

your friends.

HARDWARE INTEGRATION

Brainiac has a series of both wired and wireless connections that allow for full automation of your vehicle. These

systems could be your digital air suspension, reverse camera, climate control, dashboard cameras, relays, actuators,

secondary displays and more. The combinations are endless!

CLIMATE CONTROL

Hardware integration for climate control is

available as a Brainiac accessory

• Typically used with a 10.1” Brainiac retrofit kit

• Brainiac includes a built-in cabin temperature sensor

• Replaces existing climate control knobs and switches

to automate the vehicle’s interior temperature when

necessary

AIR SUSPENSION

The Brainiac aftermarket digital air suspension

accessory creates a clean installation

• Enhance your aftermarket digital air suspension

system by replacing your existing control pad with

Brainiac

• Height adjustments of all four corners

• Set and activate ride height presets

• Activate height presets based on GPS location

and/or vehicle speed

RELAY ACCESSORY

The Brainiac relay accessory provides you with a

clean integration option for your existing systems.

With 4 on/off switches and 4 reverse polarity

switches, Brainiac’s relay accessory gives you lots

of control. You can even connect multiple Brainiac

relay accessories at once.

While simple physical switch replacement is

possible, Brainiac also provides a powerful logic

engine that allows you to configure when your

relays should be activated.

IFTTT ENGINE

An advanced “If This Then That” engine

creates an automated vehicle environment

• Trigger instructions for Brainiac’s air suspension

and relay accessory based on multiple data points.

• Create actionable If This Then That scenarios from

on-board vehicle data, and/or historical information

from the Brainiac cloud.

• Proactive interactions created for the driver based

on meaningful real time scenarios.

• Integration with 3rd party accessories for

automation

PHONE INTEGRATION

Smartphone integration can provide both a wireless

connection for Brainiac and a valuable source of

information.

You can share your media library from your

smartphone with Brainiac and also create a much

closer interactive partnership.

we continually explore ways to integrate valuable

information from your smartphone into your driving
