Example of Family Time in CCE lessons:Every one’s name is unique. Help your child learn how to appreciate his name better, by sharing with them about their name and the significance of it.
Conversation Time!Help your child clarify their thoughts and reinforce the learning of values through your daily conversations!

What is Family Time?
Example of Family Time in CCE lessons:“What should I do in times of emergency?”, your child may ask. Help reinforce in them the sense of readiness and preparedness by playing the game “We Are Prepared!” in their activity book!
Take Action!Make time to connect with your child by spending time together. Other than putting time aside for family meals, the Family Time segment in the CCE textbooks offer suggestions of activities families can do together.
Bonding Time
Example of Family Time in CCE lessons: Children love receiving compliments. You can encourage and praise your child when they display responsible actions such as packing their own school bag or helping to lay the table for dinner.
Motivate Your Child!Parents are children’s best motivators and role models. Encourage your little ones to put the values they have learnt in school to good use by giving them the necessary affirmation!
Continuous Feedback
“Family Time”, a new feature in the Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) lessons provides suggested activities for families to bond. These activities enable values to be taught gradually over time, allowing parents to partner schools on this meaningful journey of values inculcation in their children.
