Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has

blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, (4) just as

He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and

without blame before Him in love, (5) having predestined us to adoption as sons

by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, (6) to the

praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.

BLESSINGS IN CHRIST - 1

BLESSINGS

I. EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING

II. UPWARD CALL.

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus

III. RECEIPIENTS OF HIS PROMISE

Ephesians 3:6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of

His promise in Christ through the gospel,

IV. INHERITANCE

Ephesians 1:11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to

the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

V. THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM

Galatians 3:14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus,

that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

VI. BOLDNESS AND CONFIDENCE

A. Ephesians 3:12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

B. 1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

VII. HOPE

1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most

pitiable.

VIII. POWER

Ephesians 1:19-20 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power (20) which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right

hand in the heavenly places,

IX. CHILDREN OF GOD

Galatians 3:26-27 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. (27) For as many

of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
