Make sure you un-click facing pages before you click ok – the rest is to leave as it is

The top of the page is windows

The right side of the page is the doc

Using Rules/Grids/Guides

This is the ruler that surrounds the left and top side of the page

You click and drag from the rule to make a grid or guide to place things onto your page – They wont be seem when you print

Here is where you find the colour and stoke box

To change the colour of something, you must click CMYK first

The you click your colour, and it always you to change the C M Y K parts of the colour grid

On stroke you can change the lining around your picture, from these options

Then change its weight, the higher the weight, the more visible your lining is.

From the tool bar you click the square shape to then clock on your page and drag to make a shape

From clicking on your shape, you go to file, then place

And it appears in your box
