In maths we will be exploring the four calculations (+ - × ÷) and how they can best be applied.

In R.E. we shall be exploring the five pillars of Islam and their significance to the Muslim faith.

In Year 6 our project is…

In Science we will be exploring animals and their habitats. We will concentrate on life cycles, food chains, classification and adaption. We will be taking part in a national online discussion with scientists about which species should have its DNA deconstructed.

In English we are reading ‘Mortal Engines’ by Philip Reeve. We will be looking at journalistic writing, description and

how to construct an argument.

We will use our ICT skills to explore and create our own blogs.
