INTRODUCTION
SACSC introduced the Retail Immersion Programme as a pilot project in 2016 as part of SACSC’s Educational Offering.
SACSC is focused on bringing more value to its members and therefore will again provide this programme in 2017 FREE TO THE FIRST 100 qualifying SACSC members subject to a registration fee (R500 plus vat per delegate).
• A maximum of 2 delegates per COMPANY will be allowed FREE of CHARGE. The SACSC will determine how many places each company will qualify for on a “point system” which is based on attendance of events, support of the SACSC in terms of sponsorship, etc.
• Additional registrations (limited to approx. 15 delegates in Western Cape, 15 delegates in KZN and 30 delegates in Gauteng) will be accepted on a first come first serve basis at a subsidised cost of R10,000-00 plus vat for SACSC members and R20,000-00 ex vat for non members.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The objective of the programme is to improve a centre management team’s understanding of retail, to develop business acumen and create a retail focused mentality.
Anyone involved in the shopping centre industry wanting to have a better understanding of the retailers business, however the course is primarily aimed at Centre Management teams including Centre Manager, Operations Manager, Leasing Consultants, and Marketing Managers.

WHAT WILL I LEARNThe course is presented on behalf of SACSC by Taleo Consulting and will also feature guest lectures by Retail experts.
• Duration: 10 months• 5 x 1 day workshops (including expert guest presenters from well known retailers) plus course assignments and a final project presentation of an Independent Store Turnaround project Participants will receive pre-reading via email one week prior to the course, provided registration forms and payment is received on time. Workshop hours will be from 08:00 – 16:30.

COURSE FEESFREE OF CHARGE for 100 delegates subject to a registration fee of R500 plus vat (T’s & C’s apply).
Delegates that do not qualify for free admission will be able to book at a subsidised rate of R10,000-00 plus vat for members and R20,000-00 plus vat for non members.
Fees include: lecture notes/workbooks, links to e-reading for pre-reading, refreshments at the workshops but does not include transport to or from the venue.

Each application received will be reviewed. Qualifying delegates will be required to pay a registration fee. Delegates will be contacted via telephone and a confirmation letter will be sent via email.
Delegates who are not able to be accommodated as FREE delegates will be given an opportunity to be a PAID delegate (space permitting). A booking confirmation letter will then be sent to those paying delegates. The SACSC reserves the right to make any changes necessary without prior notice.
