IN MEMORIAM DR. HOWELL G. PICKETT Dr. Howell G. Pickett, 67, head of the Liberal Arts Department at Paul Smith's College, and full professor of chemistry, died unexpectedly at his residence on c a m pus shortly after 10:00 P M Sunday, February 26, 1967. Dr. Pickett was most active in community service and student activity. The alumni of Paul Smith's College can never forget this happy professor, this kind professor, this brilliant professor that brought so much into their lives. His jolly laugh and perpetual whistle will be missed along the shores of St. Regis. He has inspired thousands of students w h o have walked the halls of our Alma Mater since its doors swung open in 1946. May God reward "Doc'' for the many unselfish years he has given to his fellow man.

Dr. Howell G. Pickett, 67, head of the Liberal Arts

Department at Paul Smith's College, and full professor

of chemistry, died unexpectedly at his residence on cam­

pus shortly after 10:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 1967.

Dr. Pickett was most active in community service and

student activity. The alumni of Paul Smith's College can

never forget this happy professor, this kind professor,

this brilliant professor that brought so much into their

lives. His jolly laugh and perpetual whistle will be missed

along the shores of St. Regis. He has inspired thousands

of students who have walked the halls of our Alma Mater since its doors swung open in 1946.

May God reward "Doc'' for the many unselfish years he has given to his fellow man.
