In Memory Of
Bonnita Mae AndersonSeptember 10, 1929 - February 21, 2018
Mother was a big sports fan. She rarely missed a
Vikings or a Lakers game and also enjoyed keeping up
with the Sidney Eagles sports teams by listening to their
games on the radio. Perfection is the word that comes to
mind when recalling the many beautiful items she
crocheted and sewed or painted in ceramics. Everything
she made, including her Christmas cookies, pies, and
cakes always looked and tasted great. In her later years
she didn’t get out much but always appreciated good food
and conversation.
We are so thankful to those who supported, and thus
allowed, our mother to continue to live independently in
the home that she and dad built together so many years
ago. Thank you to Dennis Bergerson who transported
mother to her hair appointments, ran errands, and
shopped for her groceries; Cindy Irigoin, her visiting
nurse who provided home health care; Emagene Quinnell,
who kept her house spotless, Trenlin Propp, who plowed
her driveway, Sheri Madison, her hairdresser, Debbie
Propp, who kept her company and supplied her with
homemade treats and flowers, Theresa Rogers who
delivered her medications and often made time for a visit,
Linda and Duane Anderson, who were always there for
her, and Pastor David Huskamp who ministered to her at
home.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Douglas Anderson of
Sidney, her daughter Marilyn (Thomas) Carlin of Clancy;
grandchildren, Trenlin (Jami) Propp of Sidney, and
Christopher (Liz) Carlin of Livingston; great-
grandchildren Lacey Propp of Williston, ND, CeCe Propp
of Billings, Carson Propp of Sidney and Aiden Carlin of
Torrington, WY; and special friends Darcy and Paul
Eslinger of Fargo, ND and their children Ella and Jon.
Bonnie was preceded in death by: her parents Arthur
and Lola; husband Albert; son, Brent; and her brother,
Jerry Zadow.
Bonnita “Bonnie” Mae Anderson passed away on
February 21, 2018. Bonnie, the daughter of Arthur and Lola
(McChesney) Zadow, was born in Sidney, MT on September
10, 1929. She graduated from Sidney Senior High School in
1947. Following high school, Bonnie attended the
Presentation School of Nursing, Holy Rosary Unit, in Miles
City, MT. She was married to Albert Anderson in Sidney on
September 10, 1949. Bonnie and Albert were charter
members of the Shepard of the Valley Lutheran Church.
Bonnie worked as a clinic nurse for various physicians
including R. D. Harper, John O’Sullivan, and Margaret
Laverty. She loved the variety and challenges of being a
nurse in an era when clinic nurses not only provided typical
nursing support and care but also performed such tasks as
taking and processing x-rays, drawing blood, and
administering chemo treatments. Following her many years
of nursing, Bonnie served as a deputy clerk of court for the
Richland County Clerk of Court’s office for several years
prior to her retirement.
