Program

We seek to create a nurturing and rich learning environment to engage pianists of all ages to learn, improve and musically communicate through private lessons, group forums, student performances, and concerts by renowned guest artists.

Building upon our own experiences of music education programs worldwide, we create a curriculum to address all aspects of piano study and music appreciation.

Piano students at APF study with world-renowned piano artists. Our program offers each student seven hours of private lessons with faculty members to maximize the learning experience. In addition to private lessons, our students have many growth opportunities through the piano competition, master classes, studio classes and concerts.

Group discussions, performance classes, and clinics are an important part of the Forum. Students learn to listen, compare, and analyze recordings of historical performances, as well as their own. Students may also elect to study music for four hands and concertos. The entire APF curriculum is to help pianists of all ages gain confidence, achieve better musicality, and enhance critical listening skills.

APF is especially recommended for students with interests in a smaller environment and more individualized and personal attention.
