In Sonata TM, start with the layout of the system. Import a drawing in just about any format and start putting components on it. Slide 2 Start with a plan view drawing (Use any one of 26 graphic formats) Slide 3 Then start adding inputs, outputs, switches, controls, output zones, etc. Slide 4 Once theyre all there, connect them up to the mixer... Slide 5 In just a few minutes, with a little thought made easier by the graphic layout, youll have the whole system physically laid out and ready for the next step. Slide 6 Slide 7 Sonata TM uses Modes, Associations, and Routing to define the logic of a system. Slide 8 Modes: Focus is on an individual input or output, and determines how many different modes that input or output can be in. Switch settings describe that mode. Slide 9 Modes Tab Slide 10 Associations: Attach each mode to every input or output that can be in that mode. Can also assign priorities to modes. Slide 11 Associations Tab Slide 12 Routing: A routing table is created for each mode. Full cross-point delay and level is available for each table. Slide 13 Routing Tab Slide 14 All thats left is to set the event triggers (switches, controls, etc.) And then youve completed the initial design of the system. Slide 15 All of the controls, switches, gizmos, etc., are there for you to use. Here are a few... Slide 16 Various level controls (And more coming) Slide 17 PEQ Slide 18 Slide 19 Slide 20 Comp-limiter Slide 21 Shelving... Slide 22 And cut filters Slide 23 Signal generators and much more Slide 24 This is just a brief overview. But the point is that designing a system is intuitive & much faster. AND, there are some additional very important advantages. Slide 25 You can run offline Slide 26 Open a Door... Slide 27 And another... Slide 28 Turn on another zone... Slide 29 ...and debug on the fly Slide 30 The run screen offers a great sales tool to use with customers Slide 31 Show them how their system will actually work, fine tune it with them. Slide 32 Its the whole package!
