In what ways does your media product use, develop or

products?

Direct Address

I used direct address as conventionally the main artist usually are in the centre of the page show it attracts the audience’s attention of the reader.

Mise en sceneFor the mise en scene I challenged traditional forms of media by placing my artist in a shirt which isn’t conventional of the RnB/Hip-Hop genre. Which ties into the sell lines “freshest prince” which shows you don’t have to dress a certain way to be Hip Hop, however in the contents and double page spread I used conventional mise en scene such as new era caps and jewellery to appeal to a the mainstream Hip Hop Conventions

Masthead

I did a conventional masthead which grabs the readers attention because conventional Hip and RnB magazines have a bold and big masthead which grabs the readers attention as Rnb and Rap music is very big loud and full of bass so I decided to have a large masthead.

Colour Scheme

Another conventional aspect I used which is conventional to real media is the use of 3 colours which so they audience isn't over whelmed with colours and isn't confused

Floating Quotes

I used floating quotes as they are conventional of double page spreads, which gives the audience the feeling they are having a one and one interview with the artist and is like the are connecting with the artist.

Sell lines

I used sell lines to show the audience the vast variety in the magazine so there are entertained for a long time.
