Limited safe deposit boxes are also available at the Front Desk Non-Smoking Policy- The Garland is a tobacco-free/drug-free facility. While guests may smoke in the desigated areas, the use of marijuana (recreational or medicinal) is strictly prohibitted. There is a $350 cleaning fee for smoking in guestrooms and on balconies. Paws at The Garland- Dogs up to 40 lbs are welcome. Your pooch can roam freely in our pet area located east of the Portola building. The area has an orange hydrant. There’s a weekly non-refundable pet fee and you will be asked to sign a pet agreement when you check in. Privacy Policy- The Garland reserves the right to visually inspect all guest rooms to ensure the well-being of guests and confirm the condition of the room. Safety & Security- Always check that all doors are closed when leaving the room. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle and do not leave room keys where they may be lost or stolen.
