Built in 1972, The Garland has served as a hide-away in LA for friends, family, and guests for nearly 50 years. This guide will give you all of the details you need to make us your home away from home while you’re here!

We’ve made adjustments to our operation to protect your safety and ours. Details at bit.ly/garlandcares

- Masks are required at all times unless you are: seated for dining, eating or drinking in any location, or in the privacy of your guestroom

- The Pool has been arranged for social distancing. See inside for details. Jacuzzis are closed per LA County.

DRY CLEANING- Available Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Call the Front Desk at ext. 7227 to arrange pickup prior to 8AM and items will be available after 5PM. A laundry bag can be found in your guestroom closet.

GUEST LAUNDRY CENTER- Located adjacent to the pool open 24 hours. Machines are coin-operated and a change machine is available.

SELF-PARKING AND VALET- For Valet, text or call the number on your ticket to have your vehicle pulled at the front drive. Self-parking is located behind El Dorado and Portola. Valet available in front of Lobby or Front Desk after 11PM.

BUSINESS CENTER/ATM- Adjacent to the Front Desk. Available daily. Boarding passes are printed complimentary. Open 24 Hours.

In Your RoomIn-Room Safe- For your convenience, an in-room safe for your valuables can be locat-ed in the closet. Limited safe deposit boxes are also available at the Front Desk

Non-Smoking Policy- The Garland is a tobacco-free/drug-free facility. While guests may smoke in the desigated areas, the use of marijuana (recreational or medicinal) is strictly prohibitted. There is a $350 cleaning fee for smoking in guestrooms and on balconies.

Paws at The Garland- Dogs up to 40 lbs are welcome. Your pooch can roam freely in our pet area located east of the Portola building. The area has an orange hydrant. There’s a weekly non-refundable pet fee and you will be asked to sign a pet agreement when you check in.

Privacy Policy- The Garland reserves the right to visually inspect all guest rooms to ensure the well-being of guests and confirm the condition of the room.

Safety & Security- Always check that all doors are closed when leaving the room. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle and do not leave room keys where they may be lost or stolen. Please report any suspicious activity to The Garland Team.

Sealed and Sanitized- Upon arrival, your room has been sanitized and sealed. You will be the first person to enter following Housekeeping service. Rooms have been redesigned to omit decorative pillows, magazines, and reusable glassware. Your TV remote has been sanitized and can be found in a sealed bag. Minibar items are sanitized and sealed in the room refrigerator.

Housekeeping Service- There is no service during your stay. If you’d like to request daily service or drop service of linens, please contact the Front Desk at ext. 7227. Room must be unoccupied during Housekeeping service.

Need Ice?- Per LA County requirements,ice machines are not available. Request ice by calling the Front Desk at ext. 7227
