ThecourseaimstogiveanoverviewoftheresearchfieldComputerSupportedCooperativeWork(CSCW).ThearticlesanddiscussionsconcernconceptsandtheorieswithintheCSCWfield,variousapproaches toandwithintheresearchfield,studiesofuseofgroupwareanddiscussionsaboutdevelopment ofCSCW.

ThecourseaimstogiveMasterstudentsininformaticsanoverviewoftheresearchfield ofCSCWthatcanconstituteabasisfortheirownresearchinthefield.Thestudentshouldbeabletogiveanaccountofthemostimportantresearchtraditionsandproblemstatementswithinthefield,andtheyshouldknow currentdebatesaboutCSCW.Furthermore,theyshouldknow somegroupwareexamples,andbeabletodiscuss someparticularitiesinthedevelopmentofCSCW.Emphasiswillbegiventotheirownpositioning withintheresearchfield.
