that we have included the FULL-LENGTH recordings of every piece from this year’s catalog. In addition many of these pieces will be available on Smart Music during the year. We hope you and your students enjoy the wide variety of music our composers and arrangers have created for you.

We all know that the music we select to support our curriculum has great impact. Along with great teaching, music can excite and motivate our students, improving their technique, reading and musicianship skills. A musically diverse diet is important for all ensembles. Each piece in the Belwin catalog will provide its own teaching opportunities that can meet the varied needs of your ensemble. In order to provide these recordings in their entirety, the disc contains mp3 files. This mp3 disc can be used with computers, most CD players, and most car stereos. Once copied onto your computer, the files can be imported into mp3 players such as the iPod.

Play the music that takes you through a journey of the lives of these colorful historic figures as each instrumental part shares the melodic role. (2:30)

Ralph Ford(00-33664) ..................................................... $60.00Also known by the title, “Parade of the Tin Soldiers,” this instrumental theme has become a favorite of the holiday season. It was utilized in a 1933 animated short starring Betty Boop and a parade of toys that magically come to life to crown their queen. Strong and steady, “British” in character, but with the added sounds of many magical and child-like imaginations sprinkled over the top, this piece is a true holiday gem. (2:10)
