What is an Ulti-Flex Door?

• The Ulti-Flex Door is a high speed insulated bi-parting door

• Is Bi-Parting in operation• Can resist forklift impact• Eliminates the presence of ice in the

doorway• It is a one-piece door system• Can resist high wind loads of up to

How fast is High Speed?

• Faster than 2m/second• A standard door opening of 2.7m wide will be fully open in less than 2

seconds………regardless of height!!• Operating speed is fully adjustable• Closing speed is usually set at half the opening speed for safety reasons

Why Bi-Parting?

• Reduces impact damage due to being able to see clearly when door is open enough to enter

• Doorway can be entered earlier as operator only has to wait until door is opened to the widest part of the forklift

• Safer as full line of sight is available immediately

• Door panels are 150mm thick and fully insulated

• Door panel can release from its guide and swivel on its top wheels to swing away from the impact

One Door System

The Ulti-Flex door is truly a one door system for cool rooms

It also has a smaller footprint saving approximately one metre of precious ELA or corridor space

Standard safety features are:• Double through beam photo eyes on

outside of door• Single photo eye on inside of doorway• Motor overload sensor, stops door if

closing on an obstruction• Simple emergency release system in

case of power failure

• Guaranteed for 24months or 100,000 cycles• Tested at 7000 cycles per day• Factory and site proven in excess of 200,000

cycles with no need for maintenance• Average cold storage operator may operate

their door between 45,000 – 65,000 cycles per year
