Erasmus Mundus Association of India (EMAI)

• Established in December 2007, EMAI is working for Erasmus Mundus.

• EMAI aims to work in tandem within the overall goal of Erasmus Mundus Association to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of European higher education in India.

• The organization is registered as a non-profit organization .

• The main objectives of EMAI is to promote the European Union as a centre of excellence in the field of higher education in India.

EMAI - Aims and Objects

• To serve the interest of Erasmus Mundus students and Alumni (of Indian origin) notably providing a forum for networking, communication and collaboration with Universities and Companies.

• To organize the events (such as meetings, conference, seminars etc.) aimed at networking, communication and collaboration.

• To disseminate information relating to career aspirations and employment opportunities for Erasmus Mundus students and Alumni.

• To provide information point for Erasmus Mundus students and Alumni, aspiring students, program consortia, and potential employers for networking , communication and collaboration.

EMAI - Aims and Objects

• To explore possibilities for collaboration aimed at compatibility of admission criterion, evaluation and grading norms and academic standards among Indian and European Universities.

• Encouraging and facilitating bilateral flow of students between India and Europe.

• To publish Charts, Illustrations, Magazines, Periodicals etc in different languages and for the propagation of above aims and objectives.
