The tasty dishes are influenced by French, Creole and Chinese menus. When I reflect back on my holiday to mauritius, I remember the people the most; every detail is important to them. When I told our hotel that the holiday was a 60th birthday present to my mum, they arranged a birthday cake and a catamaran sunset cruise. I would definitely return to the island, but I’d make sure my credit card was clear so I could take advantage of the brilliant shopping in Grand Baie!
