Jakie Köhli was named Honorable Mention All-American at the conclusion of her sophomore and junior seasons at Indiana. She set the school record for goals scored in a single season with 80 in 2010. She also led the team with 72 steals during the 2010 campaign, while recording 29 assists and 18 earned exclusions. She finished the season with 25 multi-goal games, including 15 games with at least three goals. She was third in the CWPA in scoring and was also named to the CWPA All-Western Division First Team. In 2011, Köhli helped lead the Hoosiers to the NCAA Championship, recording 71 goals, 37 assists, and 89 steals on the year. Köhli collected an assortment of 2011 honors, including being named to the NCAA All-Tournament Second Team.

Cassie Wyckoff was named Honorable Mention All-American for the second time in two years following her senior season at Indiana. She finished her career as the Indiana all-time saves leader after shattering the school record with 1,108 career stops. Wyckoff broke her own IU single-season saves record by notching 356 in her senior campaign, passing her junior year record of 348. Cassie finished the season with a 10.88 saves per game average and a 6.48 goals against average. She stopped a career-high 18 shots in a win over Cal State Northridge. Wyckoff earned six CWPA Western DIvision Defensive Player of the Week honors and was named to the CWPA Western Division All-Conference First Team.

Shae Fournier was named to the All-American Third Team following her sophomore season where she put together one of the most productive years in program history headlined by a single-season school record of 95 goals. She also finished the season with team-highs of 86 steals and 95 field blocks, to go along with 41 assists and 51 earned exclusions. Shae recorded six goals, five assists, five steals, and nine field blocks during Indiana’s three-game slate at the CWPA Eastern Championship en route to being named to the All-Tournament First Team. Fournier was named to the Western Division All-Conference First Team and earned five CWPA Western Division Player of the Week honors.

Krista Peterson became the second Hoosier to be named an AWPCA All-America as she earned honorable mention in both 2003 and 2004. In 2003, Peterson was one of only nine players outside the state of California to be named to the All-America squad. She was one of eight East Coast players to make an All-America list in 2004. In 2003, 2004 and 2005, Peterson was named first-team CWPA All-Division and first-team All-Eastern Championships, as well. The Portland, Ore., native became the first Hoosier to score 50 or more goals and register 30 or more assists in three straight seasons. Peterson capped an impressive 2003 season by being named to the All-CWPA Eastern Championship first team and the All-NCAA Championship first team. Also at the CWPA Eastern Championships, Peterson was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Additionally, Peterson earned a gold medal playing for the U.S. Junior Pan-American Team. Peterson finished her career ranked second on the Indiana career goals list with 224, second on the assists list with 118 and sixth on the steals list with 125.

Kandace Waldthaler earned third-team AWPCA All-American honors duirng her senior season. During the 2005 campaign, she led the Hoosiers to a 24-10 mark, includ-ing the program’s first regular-season Collegiate Water Polo Association Western Division title. The Hoosiers also reached their highest ranking in school history at No. 6 and knocked off five top-10 opponents. Waldthaler led the Hoosiers in scoring with 55 goals. Waldthaler was a two-time first-team CWPA All-Western Division selection. In her final season as a Hoosier, she was named first-team CWPA All-Eastern Championship after registering hat tricks in all three matches at the conference tournament. Waldthaler was a success in the classroom as well as the pool during her Hoosier career. She was named to the AWPCA Superior All-Academic Team.

Brooke Zimmerman was named Honorable Mention All-American following her senior campaign for the Hoosiers. She set school records for goals and assists in a single season with 77 and 56, respectively. During her senior season, she scored at least one goal in all but one of the team’s 36 games on the season and recorded multiple-goal games on 26 occasions. She also had a pair of five-goal games during her final season and finished her career with 206 goals, the third-most in a career at IU. Zimmerman also sits atop the career assists list with 151, which is 18 more than the next closest player. She was also named to the All-CWPA First Team in each of her three seasons at IU. At the Eastern Championships, Zimmerman was named to the first team in 2007 and the second team in 2008.

Deb Simone was a two-time All-American and is IU’s only three-time All-Big Ten first team selection after leading the squad in goals in each of her three seasons. Simone is the school record holder in assists (125) and steals (326), and is third all-time in career goals (139). She is the single-season steals leader with 145. Simone was also the final Big Ten MVP after being awarded the distinction in 1999 and 2000. She was named Academic All-Big Ten her junior year and Simone represented Indiana at the tryouts for the National “B” team in California.

Indiana’s most accomplished water polo player, Kristin Stanford earned All-America honors during her final three seasons with the Hoosiers. During her senior season, in which she set school records in single-season and career scoring, the Cincinnati, Ohio, native was named second team All-American by the AWPCA. She was the only player outside of the state of California represented on the first, second or third teams. During her senior season, Stanford scored a school-record 73 goals, while also recording 20 assists and 55 steals. She was also named third-team AWPCA All-American in 2002. In 2002, Stanford finished with 66 goals, 30 assists and 51 steals. She became the first Hoosier to earn All-America honors from the AWPCA in 2001 as she was named to the honorable mention list. Stanford finished her Hoosier career ranked in the top five in goals, assists and steals. She left Bloomington as the all-time scoring leader with 246 career tallies. She also ranked third in career assists with 94 and fifth in steals with 174. On four occasions during her career, Stanford scored a single-game school record of six goals. After helping lead the Hoosiers to the NCAA Final Four, Stanford was named second-team All-NCAA Championships. She also was a two-time All-CWPA All-Southern Division and All-CWPA Eastern Championships.

2002 SECOND TEAM

Sharna Nelson earned second team All-CWPA Southern Division hon-ors in the 2002 season. During her freshman year, Nelson played in all 37 matches for the Hoosiers. She was the second-leading scorer with 53 goals. She also tallied 26 assists. She scored a career-high five goals against Ha-waii in her first American water polo match, while recording a career-high four assists against Iona. She also had a personal-high five steals against George Washington.

Krista Peterson earned first team CWPA All-Division honors in 2003, 2004 and 2005. In 2005, the Portland, Ore., native earned first-team CWPA All-Western Division after leading the Hoosiers to their first CWPA West-ern Division regular seaosn title. Peterson scored 53 goals on the year and helped IU to its highest ranking in school history at No. 6. She also earned first-team accolades in 2004 and finished the season as the team leader in goals with 60 and assists with 30. Peterson finished 2003 with 61 goals, 30 assists and 38 steals. The 2003 All-America selection matched a school-record with six goals against Villanova. Peterson was named to both all-tournament teams at the CWPA Eastern Championships and the NCAA Championships. Also at the CWPA Eastern Championships, Peterson was named the MVP of the tournament.

Jessica Goldner was named the second team CWPA All-Division goal-keeper in each of her final three seasons. Goldner turned in a stellar goals against average of 4.60 in 2004 to go along with 228 saves. She started all 29 matches for the Hoosiers and ranked third on the team with 28 steals that season. Goldner finished 2003 with the second most single-season saves at 299, while facing a school-record 614 shots on goal. During the Eastern Championships, Goldner equaled a school record for saves in a match with 19 against Princeton. She was named second-team CWPA All-Eastern Cham-pionships for her performances. Kelly McKay earned second team CWPA All-Southern Division in 2001 and second-team All-Big Ten in 2000. In 2001, McKay finished the year with 31 goals, 23 assists and 16 steals. She finished her Hoosier career with 124 goals, which ranks sixth on the career scoring list. McKay also ranks tenth on the career assists list with 76. Also in 2000, McKay was named second-team All-Midwest Region. She earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 1999, 2000 and 2001. McKay was also honored on the CWPA All-Academic Team in 2001. During the 1998 season, she was named AWPCA Academic All-America.

Kristin Stanford earned first team CWPA All-South Division honors in 2001, 2002 and 2003. The three-time All-American also earned first-team CWPA All-Eastern Championships in 2002 and 2003. She finished her career as the Hoosiers’ all-time leading goal scorer with 246. Stanford also set the single-season mark with 73 goals during the 2003 season. She also ranks sixth on the career assists list with 94 and sixth on the career steals list with 174. Stanford earned both Academic All-Big Ten and Academic All-CWPA honors in 2001, 2002 and 2003. She was awarded honorable mention on the Big Ten All-Tournament team in 1999 and 2000. Stanford was also awarded second-team All-Midwest Regional in 2000. The Balfour Award winner in 2001 and 2002, Stanford was honored with the Scholastic Achievement award in 2002. In 2003, Stanford was a Big Ten Medal winner.

Pardy earned the first all-conference accolade of her career with a first team all-division selection in 2006. The Calgary, Alberta, native led the Hoosiers with 47 assists on the season, which was the top total in school history. She also finished third on the team with 47 goals and led the squad with 71 steals on the year. Pardy currently ranks in the top seven in school history in steals (sixth, 143), assists (third, 107) and goals (seventh, 104).

Kandace Waldthaler earned first team CWPA All-Western Division honors in both of her seasons with the Hoosiers. The junior college transfer from Sierra College led the Hoosiers in scoring with 55 goals as a senior in 2005. During the season, the Hoosiers captured their frist CWPA Western Division regular-season title and earned the program’s highest ranking at No. 6. She was a first-team CWPA All-Eastern Championship honoree after notching a hat trick in every match of the tournament. In 2004, Waldthaler was second on the team in goals with 41.

CAROLYN CONWAYTWO-METER

2005 FIRST TEAM

Carolyn Conway earned first team CWPA All-Western Division honors during her lone season with the Hoosiers. The Newport Harbor, Calif., na-tive finished the season third on the team in goals with 46 and second on the squad in kickouts drawn (40) and made four-meter penalty shots (4). In helping the Hoosiers to the program’s first CWPA Western Division regular-season title, Conway registered five hat tricks, including a career-best five scores against Grove City. She also was named to the CWPA second team All-Eastern Championships.

2006 SECOND TEAM

For the fourth straight season, an IU goalkeeper earned second-team All-Western Division honors from the CWPA. After Jessica Goldner earned the distinction from 2003-05, sophomore Jackie Pyrz earned her first all-conference accolade with a second-team All-CWPA selection in 2006. Pyrz posted a goals against average of 6.24 with 259 saves and 32 steals. Her saves total is the third-highest mark in school history, trailing Kate Toole’s 311 in 1998 and Goldner’s 299 in 2003.

Soria received second team All-Western Division honors in 2006 for her first conference honor. The Villa Park, Calif., native topped Indiana with 61 goals and 42 kickouts earned. Her 61 goals are tied for the fourth-most in IU history with Krista Peterson and she followed it up with 61 more goals in 2007 to earn first team honors. In 2006, on three different occasions, she notched five goals – in victories over Marist, Sonoma State and Slippery Rock.

BROOKE ZIMMERMANATTACKER

2006-08 FIRST TEAM

Zimmerman earned first team all-division honors in each of the three seasons she played for IU. In 2008, Zimmerman set a new single-season record for goals scored with 77, after setting it the year before with 76. She also set the single-season record for assists with 56, once again breaking her own record of 52 from the 2007 season. In 2006, Zimmerman finished second on the team in goals (53), assists (43) steals (66) and kickouts earned (34).

Brittany Estrada was named to the second team following the 2008 season for her first All-CWPA selection. While her stats may not jump off the stat sheet, she was solid all the way across the board with 21 goals, 23 assists and 34 steals. During the regular seaosn, she scored seven goals in six matches in CWPA play and then added three more in the postseason.

MAGGIE HANNONCENTER

Maggie Hannon earned her first CWPA honor following her junior year after scoring a career-high 62 goals and registering 20 assists. She was especially a force over the final eight games of the season, scoring 24 goals over that span. At the Eastern Championships, she scored eight goals in the three matches with a pair of hat tricks in the last two matches. In 2009, Han-non led the Hoosiers with 44 goals, including back to back three goal games at the Western Championships.

Kelsey Campbell was named to the CWPA Western Division First Team following her sophomore season, after posting totals of 32 goals, 24 assists, and 36 steals. She scored nine goals during a three game stretch at the UC Santa Cruz Slugfest, including a four goal performance against Santa Clara. Campbell was also the first player to collect Western Division Player of the Week honors on consecutive weekends since CWPA Hall of Fame member and 2003 U.S. Olympic goalie Betsey Armstrong accomplished the feat in 2004.

2007-08 SECOND TEAM

In the first year following the rule change that increased the length of games from 28 minutes to 32 minutes, Carson came in as a freshman and split time with Jackie Pyrz in goal. She finished with a team high 142 saves and faced 348 shots while posting an 8.70 goals against average in 456 minutes. In her second season, she made 160 saves in 25 games and allowed 149 goals.

Zernicke garnered her first All-CWPA selection in her senior season, compiling 22 goals, 41 assists and 61 steals. She finished her career as the all-time leader in assists with 133 and third in steals with 216. Zernicke also was well accomplished in the classroom, earning “Outstanding” recog-nition from the AWPCA all four years at Indiana.

2009-10 SECOND TEAM

Nicole Redder landed a spot on the CWPA All-Western Division Sec-ond Team following her sophomore and junior seasons. During the 2010 campaign, Redder finished second on the team with 54 goals and 56 steals. She also recorded 27 assists and 32 earned exclusions. She also earned a spot on the CWPA Eastern Championship All-Tournament First Team. In 2009, Redder anchored the Hoosier defense with a team-high 63 steals, to go along with 34 goals and 24 assists. She tallied seven goals, two assists, and four steals in a three game span at the Fluid Four.

Butler started all 32 games for the Hoo-siers and finished the year with 27 goals, 18 assists, and 27 steals. She was also second on the team with 50 earned exclusions. Butler was named to the CWPA Eastern Championship All-Tournament First Team after scoring six goals throughout the weekend to help the Hoosiers on their run to the championship game.

Jakie Köhli earned CWPA Western Division Second Team honors in 2011. The Burnaby, B.C. native had a team-high 71 goals in her junior cam-paign. She was named to the CWPA Western Division First Team after her sophomore season. She was also named to the Western Division Second Team following her freshman campaign, as well as being named the 2009 CWPA Western Division Rookie of the Year. Köhli set the Indiana single season scoring record with 80 goals during the 2010 season. She earned Honorable Mention All-American honors following both the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Köhli also collected Western Division Rookie of the Week honors during back-to-back weekends in March 2009.

McNaught earned second team all-division honors in her debut season for IU. Her 51 assists on the year marks the third most in a single-season in program history. She also tied the IU single-game assists record with five in a victory against Santa Clara. McNaught racked up a career-high four goals on four-for-four shooting in a win over Gannon. Colleen started 34 of the 36 matches she played in her freshman season and earned two CWPA Western Division Rookie of the Week honors.

Lauren Wyckoff was named to the CWPA All-Western Division First Team following her senior season in Bloomington. The Los Altos, Calif. na-tive finished her career as the fifth Hoosier to eclipse 100 goals, 100 assists, and 100 steals in a career. She was also named to the CWPA All-Western Division Second Team in 2010. She finished her junior season with 41 goals, 26 steals, as well as team-highs of 45 assists and 69 earned exclusions after starting each of the Hoosiers’ 32 games. Wyckoff racked up 12 multi-goal games and 16 matches with at least two assists. She earned CWPA Western Division Player of the Week honors on March 29. Wyckoff was also named to the CWPA Eastern Championship All-Tournament Second Team in 2010.

Cassie Wyckoff earned CWPA All-Western Division First Team honors following her senior season. She finished her career as the Indiana all-time saves leader after shattering the school record with 1,108 career stops. Wyckoff broke her own IU single-season saves record by notching 356 in her senior campaign, passing her junior year record of 348. Cassie finished the season with a 10.88 saves per game average and a 6.48 goals against aver-age. She stopped a career-high 18 shots in a win over Cal State Northridge. Wyckoff earned six CWPA Western DIvision Defensive Player of the Week honors and was named All-American Honorable Mention twice.
