Residents of Indianola and the surrounding area are invit-

ed to join our brand new Hometown Pride team!

Hometown Pride is a program that brings community

members together to improve their hometown.

Indianola is forming a Hometown Pride team of local vol-

unteers that will work together to accomplish projects

What will Hometown Pride do?

It’s up to you! Past Hometown Pride teams in other com-

munities have done things like:

10 counties across Iowa participate in Hometown Pride, a

program of Keep Iowa Beautiful. The Warren County chap-

ter is a partnership of the Warren County Economic Devel-

Indianola Hometown Pride: Volunteer Interest Form

Do you want to make a difference in the future of Indianola? Join the Indianola Hometown Pride team! As a team member, you’ll help identify what we can do to make Indianola a better place to call home, and then help make it happen.

Please fill out this form to indicate how you would like to participate in Hometown Pride, or submit the fol-lowing information in an e-mail to [email protected] no later than February 9, 2018. For more information, visit www.warrencountyhometown.com or call Lorin Ditzler at 515-442-0723.

Committee Member.

A group of 6-10 people will meet once a month to direct the Indianola Hometown Pride program. Committee members commit to regularly attend a monthly committee meeting, to participate in community projects initiated by the committee, and to be a vocal advocate for our community and the Hometown Pride program. Committee members are asked to commit to serve for at least 2 years. If checking this box, please provide a brief statement of interest below. (Note: The names of all inter-ested individuals will be submitted to City Council to be considered for formal appointment to the committee.) Volunteer.

Volunteers will be called in on an as-needed basis - to participate in “work days,” fundraising, publici-ty, or simply being a community “cheerleader.” Volunteers decide what they would like to contribute, and how often they can participate.
