1.The school will begin for the A.Y. 2020 as per the instructions received as and when from the Education Department.
2. Mail and SMS will be sent to the parents about the session to begin.
3. Parents will also receive a phone call.
INS Parandwadi is a part of The Shree Chanakya Education Society, which
has a strong presence on the map of Pune.
Indira National School, Parandwadi spread out over around 3 acres, not far
away from the city yet within the city limits, provides fresh air and ample
opportunities for the holistic development of the children who will be
accomplished individuals in many ways, happy and confident of leading their
lot to a bright future.

o School almanac is the most effective mode of
communication for the parents.
o We request you to go through it and fill the required
information asked by the class teacher.
o Paste your and your ward’s photo in the almanac.
o All other information is outlined in the almanac, which will
be made available to your ward once the school begins.
o Please acknowledge the given note by signing in the almanac
regularly.
On the first day of school opening -
Parents are requested to drop their ward to school at 7:45 a.m.
Parents can pick up their ward at 2:00 p.m. if they wish, else children can go by
bus.
Parents are requested to submit all the books covered and labelled to the
respective class teacher.
Private drop & Pick up –

o We request you to send your ward on time to school.
o If the child comes after 8:00 a.m., he/she will be marked late.
o If there are 3 late remarks marked in the calendar, the child will be sent home.
o Once the gate is closed, you are requested to take your child back home.
o Do not leave the child near the gate and move immediately, the school will not
be responsible for any mishaps.

Tentative Schedule for the above assessments are mentioned in the school Almanac.
Revision test will be conducted prior every assessment.
o Portion and time-table will be sent on the parent portal.
o The portion for sea will be the topics covered till date in the class.
o A week will be decided for SEA and the same will be intimated to you.
o Co-scholastic subjects will be assessed during half yearly and annual
exams only.
o No re-exam will be conducted. Please avoid absenteeism.
o If the child remains absent, he/she will be marked “Absent” in the
report card .
o WE GIVE EXPOSURE TO VARIOUS COMPETITIVE EXAMS

BE BROUGHT FROM HOME.
o THE SCHOOL WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY MATERIAL, IF THE CHILD

o EVERY WEEK THE STUDENTS ARE ISSUED ABOOK TO READ
DURING THE LIBRARYPERIOD.
FIRST AID IS ADMINISTERED ONLY IN CASE OF
MINOR INJURIES.
ORAL MEDICINES ARE NOT GIVEN IN THE
SCHOOL.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, WE TAKE THE CHILD
TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER CONSULTING THE
PARENTS/ PARENTS CAN PICK THEIR CHILD.
o At INS Parandwadi, it is mandatory to sign the register
at the entrance gate when visiting the school.
o Main Entrance is closed during the school hours to
prevent entry of outsiders.
o School premises is under CCTV surveillance, which are
monitored regularly.
Fire Extinguishers are placed at various corners.
Ladies attendant/Teachers are present at various
spot from the school bus till classrooms for the safe
movement of children.
Teachers accompany the children till the school bus
at the time of dispersal.
o SCHOOL HAS INTRODUCED AN AWARD SYSTEM FOR THE STUDENTS.
o THEY ARE ORIENTED ABOUT THESE AWARD CATEGORIES AT THE
BEGINING OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR AND ARE MOTIVATED TO ACHIEVE
THEM.
o DETAILS ARE MENTIONED IN THE SCHOOL CALENDAR.
o WE EXPECT THE CHILDREN TO HAVE 85% ATTENDANCE, SO WE REQUEST
THE PARENTS TO ENCOURAGE THE CHILD TO ATTAIN IT.
o CHILDREN AT INSP WILL BE AWARDED 100% ATTENDANCE AWARD. IT
MOTIVATES THEM TO BE REGULAR TO SCHOOL.
o IT ALSO INFUSES THE HABIT OF REGULARITY AMONG THE STUDENTS.
o If the child is absent due to medical reason, a medical certificate
mentioning the nature of complain and stating “fit to join the
school” by the registered medical practitioner to be submitted to the
class teacher.
o The parents are requested to collect the notes/work done during
absenteeism from the class teacher with prior appointment.
o Parents can meet the teachers on 4th Saturday.
o Timings will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
o Other than 4th Saturday, if the parents want to meet the teachers, they
can meet the teacher with prior appointment after 2:00 p.m. only.
o For any PTM – your ward should accompany you with proper regular
school uniform.
o MY PROFILE Student details should be up to date with latest photograph.
Parents can change Address / Mobile No/mail id etc. by sending a
Request to Unfreeze profile.
o ATTENDANCE Is updated daily. Monthly Attendance can be seen

FANCY : HAIRBAND, SWEATSHIRTS, FLOATERS AND SOCKS ARE NOT
ALLOWED.
RECORD SHEETS ARE GIVEN IN THE CALENDAR WHERE TEACHERS MARK
ONCE IN A WEEK IF THE STUDENT DOES NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS
MENTIONED IN THE DIARY .
FOR PTM–YOUR WARD SHOULD COME IN SCHOOL UNIFORM.
SEATING ARRANGEMENT IN CLASSROOMS ARE DONE ON ROTATION BASIS.
PARENTS ARE REQUESTED TO CO-OPERATE FOR THE SAME.
NO EARLY EXIT WILL BE PERMITTED DURING THE EXAMS.
IF YOUR WARD IS SICK PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SENDING HIM/HER
TO SCHOOL TO AVOID INCONVENIENCE TO OTHER STUDENTS.
