Omar makes the students participate actively, and he is very amiable and approachable. The amount of work for sections was justright: two short questions that had to be submitted in advance each week, and three 2-page response papers throughout the semester.Fantastic feedback on response papers and final paper drafts! My only criticism is that Omar could have replied to e-mail morequickly.

Omar is a fantastic section leader. He really makes it a point to include everyone in the discussion without really putting them on thespot. He's always extremely helpful, and he genuinely cares about the welfare of the students.

Omar was an incredible section leader. Not only did he do a wonderful job of including everyone, but he made the sectionsinteresting as he encouraged us to apply our own opinions and experiences to the material covered in the class.

Omar did a good job of including every person in every section. He was very knowledgeable about the material and was careful notto influence anyone's ideas with his own political beliefs. He facilitated discussion very well.
