(Jejakmu)• IYEN is a platform for the promotion of youth employment
countrywide.
• Indonesia became a Lead Country of the Youth Employment network (YEN) in March 2002 when it joined a group of countries that had committed to tackling the youth employment challenge at the highest level.
• The centre point for activities to promote youth employment and for knowledge and experience sharing among the government, private sector, civil society, academia, local communities, and youth group

IYEN Main Roles :• To formulate a National Youth Employment Action Plan;• To provide guidance and support to the preparation and
implementation of action programmes both at the provincial and district levels;
• To facilitate partnership and to establish network with various parties who are concerned with youth employment;
• To mobilize support from international network and organizations;• To mobilize resources in support of the action programmes;• To monitor and evaluate and provides feed back regarding action
programmes to the cabinet.

IYEN KEY SERVICES• Facilitate partnership and to establish network with various parties
who are concerned with youth employment.
• IYEN has engaged government, employers’ organizations, worker’s unions, as well as youth groups since 2002, in the efforts to mainstream youth employment in the country’s development agenda.

• Policy for youth employment– Incorporate youth employment goals in national and regional level policy making
and review labor market regulations to ensure facilitate greater opportunities for young workers.
• Skills for Employability– Making education affordable to the poor and improve the quality of education.– Develop a National Qualification Framework and strengthen the network of
vocational education and training centers of excellent.• Fostering Entrepreneurship:
– Make it easier to start and run your own business and strengthen micro-finance which reflect the needs of youth.
• Knowledge sharing :– Platform for government entities to share their policies on youth or share their
youth-related programmes and activities.

Achievement :
• Youth (15-24 years old) unemployment rate is declining, in August 2010 is around 22%.

• Before the Annual National Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbangnas), the provincial government have to proposed activities and funding that are planned to be conducted in the following year.
• The proposals are filled through an online system (web based http://ukppd.bappenas.go.id)

• The city of Cimahi developed an IT-based complaint handling mechanism called Pesan Singkat Penduduk/Pesduk (Citizen Short Messages)

Online Application System for Licensingin Kota Yogyakarta
• The city of Yogyakarta developed an online application system for licensing.
• The online application system only intended for the type of license that does not require a field review, such as Research License, Job Training License, and Field Work License.
• Applicants fill out registration form, upload required documents and register themselves electronically (online) through the website http://perizinan.jogjakota.go.id/online/login.php.
• The standard processing time is 2 (two) days
