BRIEF INTRODUCTIONIndus Merchant Limited (IML) is one of Trinidad and Tobago's leading

importers and distributors of FMCG Products (Beauty, Personal Care, and

Food products).

We are the exclusive distributor of numerous brands in the Caribbean Countries

from some of the most recognizable companies in India, Middle East, USA,

Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and South Africa. These include brands from

Unilever International, Dabur, Emami, Wipro, Marico, Jyothy Labs, RSH Global,

Bajaj Corp, Marico South Africa, Henna Industries, Cavin Kare, Silk Route, Splash

Corporation and Wipro Unza and are the sole distributor of some of these

companies for over two decades.

Our products can be found in all leading Supermarkets, Pharmacies and Cosmetics

stores nationwide, just to name a few; Pennywise, Superpharm, Xtra-Foods, JD’s,

TruValu, Massy Stores, Food Basket, Price Club, KAF, White Diamond, etc.

We also export to other Caribbean Islands as the regional agent for our brands.

An experienced team and a nationwide distribution network that includes

pharmacies, cosmetic stores and supermarkets is our strength in introducing new

products and making them a household name.

DISTRIBUTORS FOR:

➢ Distribution division began in 1996 under associate company Pretanjali’s Ltd (Largest Indian

garments chain-store in Trinidad at the time).

➢ Emami Ltd.'s first international export was done to Indus Merchant, with their brand ‘Naturally

Fair’, creating and dominating the fairness segment in Trinidad till present.

➢ As more internationally recognised brands were added, and the distribution network

expanded, the distribution side of the business was moved to newly incorporated, Indus

Merchant Ltd in 2004.

➢ In 2008 Indus Merchant Ltd also diversified its business by becoming a distributor for Bajaj

Auto Ltd and has also been a distributor for hardware and general merchandise.

➢ In 2015, a Warehouse and Office complex was constructed in Charlieville, alongside the UB

Highway, to accommodate expanding product lines, stock and increased staff

➢ The distribution network now, includes almost all leading supermarkets, cosmetic stores and

pharmacies in Trinidad and Tobago and also exports and distributes to other Caribbean Islands
