1815: It all starts with gunpowder

1878: Production of nictrocellulose

1929: Production of cellulose film

1950: Additional cellulose derivatives

1960: Foil production from synthetic material

1974: Bayer AG acquires 100% of shares

1984: Development of Röpersberg area, building of new

cellulose plants

1990: Continuous expansion of plants

2001: Restructuring of the Wolff Walsrode AG and

foundation of the Industrial Park Walsrode

2007: Dow takes over the Wolff Walsrode AG
