Industry leaders see these cleantech clusters as key competitiveness drivers

“Today, Danish cleantech export accounts for the highest percentage of national GDP in the world. This is

because companies, universities and public institutions have joined forces in a concerted effort to sustain and expand our world-class cleantech competencies. I hereby invite you to

be part of Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster”

Anders Eldrup, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Dong Energy

"I am convinced that CleanTechNRW can significantly contribute to North Rhine-Westphalia's competitiveness as a location for business and industry. Also because of its bold

and clear commitment to future issues as climate change and the efficient use of resources“

Green Way as a test bed for Glen Dimplex

• Irish R&D, Irish comemrcialisation, Irish manufacturing jobs

• ‘Quantum’ space & water heating – energy efficiency, energy storage, demand side management, increased renewables on grid

• Required a property portfolio (FCC,DCC) for large scale ‘test bed’ deployment of Glen Dimplex hardware (MRV support through DIT)

• Project also involves TSO, DSO, Utilities, ICT provider, SEAI etc

“This project would not have been possible without The Green Way. Access to a formalised deployment platform within Dublin has radically improved the speed at which we can bring innovations such as Quantum to market”

Sean O’Driscoll, Group CEO and Chairman, Glen Dimplex
