INES as a University of Applied

Sciences

In 2008, a research to analyze the position of HLIs in relation to the labor market needs.

Results: a big discrepancy between academic products and the labor market needs.

Biggest issue not really with offered programs but the way they way offered

After consulting with stakeholders and experts from the Netherlands and Germany, the concept of University of Applied Sciences was adopted in 2010 as the solution.
