APPLICABILITY This warranty is provided to the original and sub-

sequent owner(s) of an Infiniti vehicle originallydistributed by Nissan which is originally sold bya Nissan authorized Infiniti dealership in theUnited States, and which is registered and nor-mally operated in the United States (includingAlaska and Hawaii), the United States territories(specifically Guam, Saipan, American Samoa,Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands), andCanada.

Your Infiniti vehicle is manufactured to meet U.S.regulations and environmental requirements.With the exception of privately owned vehiclesbelonging to members of the U.S. military oremployees and officers of the United StatesGovernment stationed abroad, this warrantydoes not apply if an otherwise covered vehicle isoperated in, or relocated to, a country other thanthose listed above under this caption, except thatit continues to apply if the vehicle is operated infull compliance with its proper use as describedin the applicable OWNERS MANUAL2 while tour-ing outside of the United States, the U.S. territo-ries or Canada for a period not exceeding sixty

ENGINE - Cylinder heads and block and all internalparts, rocker covers and oil pan, valve train and frontcover, timing chain and tensioner, oil pump, waterpump and fuel pump, fuel injectors, intake and

exhaust manifolds, flywheel, seals and gaskets.TRANSMISSION AND TRANSAXLE - Case and all inter-nal parts, torque converter and converter housing,automatic transmission control module, transfercase and all internal parts, seals and gaskets,clutch cover and housing, and electronic transmis-sion controls.

DRIVETRAIN - Drive shafts, final drive housing andall internal parts, propeller shafts, universal joints,bearings, seals and gaskets.

CORROSION COVERAGE (PERFORATION FROMCORROSION)

Any body sheet metal panel supplied by Nissanfound to have developed perforation (rust-through)due to corrosion in normal use is covered for 84months, regardlessof mileage, exceptfor those itemslisted under WHAT IS NOT COVERED. No additionalrust proofing applications are required. Perforation is

a condition in which any body sheet metal panel has

corroded from one surface to another.

ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT BATTERY COVERAGE

The coverage period is 48 months or 60,000 miles,whichever comes first. A defective original equip-mentbatterywhich is unserviceable within the first12months and 60,000 miles will be replaced free of

charge. After 12 months but within 24 months and60,000 miles, you will pay 25% of the replacementbatterys suggested retail price plus applicable taxes.After 24 months but within 36 months and 60,000miles, you will pay 50% of the replacement batteryssuggested retail price plus applicable taxes. After 36months but within 48 months and 60,000 miles, youwill pay 75% of the replacement batterys suggestedretail price plus applicable taxes. Nissan will pay therest, including all labor to remove and replace thedefective battery.

TOWING COVERAGEIf your vehicle is inoperative due to the failure of awarranted part, towing service to the nearest author-ized Infiniti dealer is covered for 48 months or60,000 miles, whichever comes first.

ADJUSTMENT COVERAGE

Service adjustments not usuallyassociated with thereplacement of parts, such as wheel alignment, arecovered only during the first 12 months or 12,000miles, whichever comes first.

Evidence of the performance of the required main-tenance should be kept and may need to be pre-sented as proof of such maintenance in connectionwith related warranty repairs. WHAT IS COVEREDNISSAN* warrants that your vehicle was designed,built and equipped to conform at the time of salewith all applicable United States emission stan-dards.

This warranty covers any repairs needed to correctdefects in materials or workmanship which wouldcause your vehicle not to meet these standards.

HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY

This warranty is for 4 years or 60,000 miles,whichever occurs first. The warranty begins thedate the vehicle is delivered to the first retail buyeror put into use, whichever is earlier. Additionally,

the engine control module/onboard diagnosticdevice and catalytic converter(s) listed below andindicated by an under the caption WarrantyParts List are covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles,whichever occurs first.

EMISSIONS PERFORMANCE WARRANTY

WHEN DOES THIS WARRANTY APPLYThe Emissions Performance Warranty applies toyour 2008 Infiniti vehicle ONLY when both of thefollowing occur.1. The vehicle fails to meet applicable emissions

standards as judged by an emissions testapproved by the Environmental ProtectionAgency (EPA).

2. This failure results or will result in some penal-ty to you, such as a monetary fine or the denial

5. In the case of the Defects Warranty, parts notsupplied by Nissan or damage to other partscaused directly by non-Nissan parts.

YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

The California Air Resources Board is pleased toexplain the emission control system warranty on

your 2006 vehicle. In California, new motor vehi-cles must be designed, built and equipped to meetthe States stringent anti-smog standards. Nissanmust warrant the emission control system on yourvehicle for the periods of time listed below provid-ed there has been no abuse, neglect or impropermaintenance of your vehicle.

Your emission control system may include partssuch as the fuel-injection system, the ignition sys-tem, catalytic converter and engine computer. Alsoincluded may be hoses, belts, connectors andother emission-related assemblies.

Where a warrantable condition exists, Nissan willrepair your vehicle at no cost to you including diag-nosis, parts and labor.

MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY COVERAGE

For 4 years or 60,000 miles (whichever occursfirst):

1) If your vehicle fails a Smog Check inspection, allnecessary repairs and adjustments will be made byNissan to ensure that your vehicle passes the

WHEN DOES THIS WARRANTY APPLYThis warranty applies to your 2008 Infiniti vehicleonly if it fails to pass a California smog check testor equivalent.

WHAT IS COVERED AND FOR HOW LONG

Nissan warrants that if your vehicle fails to pass aCalifornia smog check test, it will make the nec-essary repairs so that your vehicle will pass. You will be told whether Nissan will honor yourclaim within 30 days of the date you make theclaim, unless a shorter time period is required bylaw. If your claim is denied, Nissan will notify you

in writing of the reason. If we do not notify youwithin this time period, we will repair your vehicleunder this warrantyat no cost to you. The time peri-od for notification will not apply if you request adelay or a delay is caused by events not under thecontrol of Infiniti dealers.

No claim will be denied under the PerformanceWarranty because you use a certified part for main-tenance or repair.

CALIFORNIA VEHICLE INSPECTION PROGRAM

Under this program, if your vehicle fails a smogcheck test, you may choose to have diagnosis ofthe failure and repairs made at an Infiniti dealer orat another service facility. If the inspection failureis the result of a condition covered by these war-ranties, you must take your vehicle to an Infinitidealer for warranty repairs. This includes parts,labor and diagnosis. You must pay for diagnosticcosts if performed at another service facility exceptin the case of emergency repairs as outlined below.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?This limited warranty does not cover the following: Tiressubmitted for ride disturbance complaints

that are worn beyond the first two thirty-sec-onds of an inch (2/32") tread depth.

Dunlop does not warrant or give credit in anyadjustment transaction for any kind of material

added to a tire (e.g., tire fillers, sealants, bal-ancing substances) after the tire leaves a facto-ry producing Dunlop tires, nor will it adjust anytire that has failed as a result of adding suchmaterial.

Irregular wear or damage due to mechanicalcondition of the vehicle, improper inflation,overloading, high speed spin-up, misapplica-tion, misuse, negligence, racing, use of tirechains, improper mounting or demounting,

improper repair, wreck, collision or fire. Road hazards (includes, but not limited to,

punctures, cuts, snags, impact breaks, etc.). Any tire that after leaving a factory producing

Underinflation is the leading cause of tire failureand may result in severe cracking, component sep-aration or blowout. It reduces tire load capacity,allows excessive sidewall flexing and increases

rolling resistance, resulting in heat and mechanicaldamage. Maintaining proper inflation pressure isthe single most important thing you can do toensure tire durability and maximum treadlife.

Overinflation increases stiffness, which may deteri-orate ride and generate unwanted vibration.Overinflation also increases the chances of impactdamage.

DONT OVERLOAD YOUR VEHICLECheck your vehicle owners manual to determinethe load limits. Overloading your vehicle placesstress on your tires and other critical vehicle com-ponents. Overloading a vehicle can cause poorhandling, increased fuel consumption and maycause tire failure.

Never fit your vehicle with new tires that have less

load capacity than shown on the vehicle tire plac-ard and remember that optimum rim width isimportant for proper tire load distribution and func-tion.

The maximum load capacity stamped on the side-walls of P-Metric tires is reduced by 10 percentwhen used on a light truck, utility vehicle or trailer.Never fit P-Metric tires to light trucks that specify LT-type replacement tires.

Frequent inspection of your tires for signs of dam-age and their general condition is important forsafety. If you have any questions, have your tiredealer inspect them. Impacts, penetrations, cracks,knots, bulges, or air loss always require tire removaland expert inspection. Never perform a temporaryrepair or use an innertube as a substitute for a prop-er repair. Only qualified persons should repair tires.

PROPER TIRE REPAIRNOTE: Dunlop does not warrant any inspection orrepair process. The repair is entirely the responsi-bility of the repairer and should be made in accor-dance with established Rubber ManufacturersAssociation (RMA) procedures.

Any Goodyear temporary spare tire that does notdeliver satisfactory highway service due to a work-manship or material related condition during thefirst 50% of usable tread depth (1/32 of an inch)will be replaced with a comparable new Goodyeartemporary spare tire without charge. Mounting isincluded. After the first 50% of usable treadwear,you pay only an adjustment charge for the tread-

wear received, plus any mounting charge.

COVERAGE (PRORATED ADJUSTMENT)Tires not eligible for no charge adjustment that donot deliver satisfactory service due to a workman-ship or material related condition will be replacedwith comparable new Goodyear tires on a pro ratabasis. The replacement price will be calculated bymultiplying the current Goodyear predeterminedprice for adjustment or current advertised price atadjustment location (whichever is lower) by thepercentage of usable original tread that has beenworn off at the time of the adjustment. You pay formounting, balancing, and an amount equal to thefull current Federal Excise Tax applicable to thecomparable new replacement tire.

The predetermined price for adjustment, avail-

able at all Goodyear Auto Service Centers and par-ticipating dealers, fairly represents the actual regu-lar retail selling price of the comparable tire at thetime of adjustment. If a predetermined price foradjustment is not available, adjustment will bebased on the price at which you are entitled to buyat the time of adjustment.

A tire has delivered its full original tread life andthis warranty ends when the treadwear indicatorsbecome visible, regardless of age or mileage.

Irregular wear or tire damage due to: Road hazards (including punctures, cuts,

snags, impact breaks, etc.). Wreck, collision, or fire. Improper inflation, overloading, high speed

spinup, mis-application, misuse, negli-gence, racing, chain damage or improper

mounting or demounting. Mechanical condition of the vehicle. Ride disturbance after the first 25% of

usable treadwear or due to damagedwheels or any vehicle condition.

Temporary spare tires used on vehicle usedin racing and on passenger cars in specialapplications, such as police pursuit service.

Any tire intentionally altered after leaving aGoodyear factory to change its appearance.

(Example: White inlay on a black tire.) Tires with weather cracking which were pur-

chased more than four (4) years prior topresentation for adjustment. If you have noproof of purchase date, tires manufacturedfour (4) or more years prior to presentationare not covered.

Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use ofthe vehicle or consequential damage.

Some statesdo not allow the exclusion or limitationof incidental or consequential damages so theabove limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.

Any tire, no matter how well constructed, may fail inservice or otherwise become unserviceable due toconditions beyond the control of the manufacturer.This warranty is not intended as a representation

that a tire failure cannot occur.

OWNERS OBLIGATIONSa. You must present the tire to be adjusted to a

Goodyear Auto Service Center or Goodyear TireDealer. (Please consult you telephone directo-ry for locations.) Tires replaced on an adjust-ment basis become the property of TheGoodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

b. You mustpay for taxes or any additional serviceyou order at the time of adjustment.

c. No claim will be recognized unless submittedon a Goodyear claim form (supplied byGoodyear dealer or Auto Service Center) com-pletely filled out and signed by you, the ownerof the tire presented for adjustment, or yourauthorized agent.
