BRITTNEY SWARTZDesign Project Manager

As a project manager at Burns & McDonnell, Brittney is a strategic member of the design-build team working collaboratively from conceptual design through construction completion to provide efficient and cost-effective solutions for high-quality projects. Her 22 years of project experience include commercial and retail development; mixed-use development; corporate campuses; regional and local parks and urban design.

Brittney is dedicated to designing, through a sustainable lens, the planning, design, construction and ongoing operation of the Burns & McDonnell world headquarters campus. Every decision on the project involves determining solutions that work for the environment, community, building occupants and operational needs. Brittney is a LEED AP Building Design + Construction Professional and certified as an Envision Sustainability Professional.

Outside of work, Brittney is involved with United Way, Kansas City CCIM and is an associate member of the Kansas City Urban Land Institute.

Brittney is a graduate of Kansas State University and lives in the Kansas City area with her husband and two children.
