Impacts of financial crisis, which are

shaking foundations of world economy

Investigation of self-compacting concrete properties and creation of its compositions in Belarus were first begun at the Institute of construction RUP «Institute BelNIIS» in the late nineties. For the first time self-compacting concrete was used in 2003 – 2005 dur-ing building of the National Library of the Republic of Belarus, one of design features of which was presence of elements with rein-forcement not allowing to apply traditional methods of compac-tion by immersion vibrator. In this regard it was offered to use self-compacting concrete technology.
