2. Paddock Parking-Up / Set-up / Pack-Down / Test Day Information

Support Race Test Day – no entry for Support Races into BTCC Paddock area

Support Race race vehicles and pit lane equipment must stay out of BTCC paddock area on Friday, June 6, because

BTCC teams’ parking-up and set-up could cause delay and obstruction to those testing. For the avoidance of doubt, that

means no testing / race traffic along the roadway in front of the transporters parked behind the pit garages.

Support Race Pit Lane Entry / Exit

Entry for pit lane equipment for both the test day and the race weekend will be via the gate next to the Race Control

building. Exit for pit lane equipment on both the test day and the race weekend will be through the exit lane next to Garage

28. Pit lane equipment should not be taken through the BTCC paddock area at any time (i.e. along the roadway in front of

the transporters parked behind the garages) . Re-fuelling on the test day, if necessary, can take place in the Assembly

Area.

2. Pit Apron Team Allocation:

2.2 Car Parking during Parking Up Days

To help ease paddock congestion on Thursday and Friday Parking Up days ALL vehicles that do not have Paddock passes

must park in the Competitors Car Park (in the field immediately on the left once past the ticket check booths) as directed by

circuit security.

Any abuse shown towards the vehicle pass system / circuit security will result in passes being withdrawn.

Any vehicles found in unauthorised areas will be removed without warning.

2.3 Motorhome area

Parking for private motorhomes is in the motorhome area which is immediately on the left once over the bridge after the

circuit entrance. Water is available in this area but motorhome users must not leave their water hoses permanently

plumbed in to the water supply – it is for filling water carriers, tanks etc. only. There is no circuit power available in this area.

2.4 Vacating the paddock

The Paddock must be clear by midday, Monday, June 8.

3. Important Information:

3.1 Ticket Collection Point

A team ticket/pass collection system will be in operation in the “Advance Ticket Collection Point” on the left (on the grass)

before the ticket booths once over the bridge at the main entrance. This will be open between 07.00 and 13.00 on Sunday,

June 7.

You can drive into this area to collect tickets - however anyone found parking there will be fined £50. Teams can drop off

tickets/passes, in envelopes marked with both the recipient's and team member's name and contact details, at the

reception desk of the Fogarty Moss Centre, up to 17.00 on Saturday, June 6, or at the Advance Ticket Collection Point after

07.00 on the Sunday.

3.2 Team Security

There will be 24-hour security in place from Thursday 07.00 to Monday 07.00.

However, please ensure that all your property is kept safe at all times – if possible,

watched-over by a team member when your cars are on track – and is not easily removable.

3.3 Live Television

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the demands of the live ITV broadcast, the event timetable on Sunday is flexible to allow for any

unforeseen circumstances on the day. Therefore start times, particularly for the BTCC races, may change at short notice

and teams/competitors will be notified by event officials if/when that happens.

ITV regret they have an unavoidable clash on the Sunday at Oulton Park with the French Open. This will mean that ITV4

will need to go away from our live coverage at 13.30 and return at around 15.15 until 18.30. The BTCC event times will be

manoeuvred to fit this schedule, as shown in the timetable.

As recompense Alan Gow has negotiated a 90 minute focus show on that same Sunday evening…prime time to be

broadcast from 10pm directly after the TT review, from which we will also inherit a decent audience. This highlights

programme will have features of the BTCC and showcase those scheduled support races that will not now be broadcast

live.

4 Circuit Specific Information:

4.1 The very wide Fire Lane to the rear of the pit garages must be kept clear at all times.

4.2 Please note it is not permitted to drive any pins or stakes into the Paddock surface. The circuit may levy a fine of

£100 plus reinstatement costs for each and every breach of this rule.

4.3 Empty Carless fuel cans should be left tidily at the circuit fuel pumps on departure. Please ensure that all waste oil is placed in the waste oil facilities and not put into empty Carless fuel cans (along with any other substances) as these incur high costs to recycle and the costs will be passed on to all teams in our Championship. Teams are

reminded not to leave old tyres in the paddock as well.

4.4 Please book your fuel, car parts and tyres NOW, so that Carless, Mygale and Mr Tyre can prepare for the event.

4.5 All refuse bins will be emptied on Friday and Saturday at 18.30 and early Sunday morning – if accessible.

4.6 Health and Safety checks will be taken at any time from team arrival and may include checks on use of PPE; siting

of fuel; at least one 6kg fire extinguisher PER CAR; adequate safety training of personnel; spot check of team H&S

documentation (PL Insurance certificates, Risk Assessment, Awning Flammability).

4.7 A reminder: no-one is permitted to drive paddock buggies/quads etc. outside of the Oulton Park paddock unless

they have an Oulton Park pass for that purpose. Only a limited number of these passes will be available from the BTCC

Championship Co-ordinator to keep buggies to a minimum in the public areas.

4.8 Security will scan the barcodes on TOCA passes on entry to the circuit on Saturday and Sunday. Should a pass

holder wish to exit the circuit and return on the same day, the barcode must be scanned again on exit. However, the

system will reset overnight so pass holders will not need to be scanned out if they do not need to regain access the same

day.

4.8.1 Zero tolerance of any abuse of personnel passes. Please do not bring our championship into disrepute.

5 MSA Formula Specific Information

5.1 Hospitality bookings are available for Sunday 8th June. Deadline for booking is by end of business Tuesday 2nd

June, so we can advise caterers on Wednesday morning. Breakfast will be served 08:00-10:00 and lunch 12:00-14:00.

5.3 Sunday driver Autograph Session, 10:30-11:05. This is REALLY popular at Oulton

Park! Bring pen. Wear Race suit.

5.4 MSA Masterclass coaching at Oulton Park.

5.5 RACEceivers. Drivers to please check the condition of these, and change batteries. All must be working.

5.6 TV. If you would like to purchase a copy (£60 + VAT) of our Sunday race footage (without interviews) then

please contact Penny by the Wednesday prior to the Race Meeting, so it can be booked. No more than 30 seconds of

this can be put onto any internet outlet (and this cannot include any possible judicial moment, or be within 8-days of the

race meeting). This cannot be shared privately before Monday 8th June. Please provide a memory stick of at least 8GB

and invoices will be issued after the weekend.

5.7 Sunday prize giving. Our race schedules give little time at the end of races to congratulate winners. The

presentation at the end of Sunday gives an opportunity for all teams, drivers, supporters and championship sponsors to

enjoy the winners and recognise some additional ones from the drivers and teams. Trophies are kept at their best for

drivers to take home; race licences are returned and final championship information given. Please ensure you have

factored in additional time for this championship activity. All drivers to be in paddock clothing or race suits please.

We look forward to seeing you at Oulton Park!
