Fantastic array of activities to challenge yourself. From plate spinning and poi to action aerial skills. Crazy fun for everyone!

Put a smile on the little ones’ dial with these cute animals to pet and mini pony rides.

Jump in front of the camera, strike a pose and post it at #hinchinbrookway Props galore for a super selfie. Make a feather head band, a turtle mask or try a moustache! This outdoor studio is open all day!

11.00am Storytime Forever A selection of wonderful children’s stories to spark the imagination. For children or child within. Sessions are ongoing throughout the day, check the board at the site for the next storytime. (Presented by First 5 Forever and Educators United).

11.00am Sensory Play Ignite the senses with unique play for 0-5 including Calming Lavender Play-dough, Ball Pit, Newspaper Pit, Bubbles, and Kinetic Sand. Sensitive fun for the little, little ones. (Presented by Educators United).

11.10am Sarah Little A North Queensland local, Sarah plays across numerous genres including pop, rock, indie, country and just about everything in between. Deriving her style from musical influences such as Stevie Nicks, Adele, The Corrs and Alanis Morisette, her variety creates a wonderful easy listening blend.

11.15am Cupcake Creations

Be your own Masterchef - learn simple creative ways to decorate your favourite cupcakes.

11.15am Bella Dance Studio

Come on over to the amphitheatre and dance along with Bella Dance Studio.

11.20am Fiona Moran Originally from the UK, Fiona is set to present fantastic original songs with a few familiar covers in the mix. Her influences range from Billy Joel to Alicia Keys, but she enjoys playing music from all the ages.

12.00pm Cupcake Creations

Be your own Masterchef - learn simple creative ways to decorate your favourite cupcakes.

12.15pm Maraka Queen Story time for the little ones presented by the Maraka Festival Queen.

Information COST: FREE EVENT. All entertainment, activities, workshops and games are free of charge, by gold coin donation and one is $3 for materials only. Food and beverages available for purchase.

ENTRY: The event in the TYTO Parklands is accessible from entrances off the Bruce Highway at Cooper St & Macrossan Ave and McIlwraith St, Ingham.

PARKING: Car parking is available at Cooper St, Macrossan Ave and McIlwraith St, Ingham, and on-street parking. Follow signage.

LOST & FOUND: Any lost & found items will be handed into the Macrossan Ave Information Station. If any children become separated from their families, please also go to the Macrossan Ave Information Station.

EMERGENCY SERVICES: Should you need to contact Police or Emergency Services it is advisable to dial 000. A First Aid Kit is located at each entrance information marquee, the Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Lounge, or Hinchinbrook Shire Library.

TOILETS: Public toilets, wheelchair accessible toilets, parent facilities available in wheelchair access toilets.

SMOKING: Please note the Picnic Day is a non smoking event. There are clearly signed designated smoking areas to the front of TYTO at McIlwraith St or at the front of the Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Lounge.

WET WEATHER: In the event of inclement weather, the event will not be rescheduled but an altered version will go ahead in the Hinchinbrook Shire Hall. Please check our facebook page visitTYTO for updates.

Get your groove on and get up and dance! Described as happy disco, the band plays a fusion of groovy styles including disco, funk, soul and acid jazz.

12.20pm Uke Nomad Uke Nomad - Play contemporary Jazz/Folk featuring Tenor & Bass Ukuleles at their best. Beautiful rhythms and tone quality provide a backdrop for their hand penned & contemporary songs with exquisite harmonies & flute lines.

Ingham State High - A mix of pop songs from the charts old and new. Think Cold Chisel to Adele.

Get to know some fun facts about the wildlife from Ranger Dan and what you can do to help them stay protected.

1.40pm Obsessions This ones for the Mum’s and Dad’s. Playing great covers from Crowded House, John Fogerty and Fleetwood MAC to namedrop but a few - this is easy listening feel good music.

2.40pm Bonnie Zaghini Come and relax or sing along to acoustic pop melodies, performed by talented local artist.

2.40pm Gymnastics Watch Ingham Gymnastics complete stunts and acts on the big mats in front of the stage.

3.00pm Dragonuke Ukulele kids show

Dragonuke is a unique show that sparks children’s imaginations with story & song and encourages singing and interacting with the characters. Imaginical, tuniferous and funny!

3.00pm 2 Jam Deadly Playing music all over the shop, from Country Rock, Blues, Rock & Roll, Pub Rock and 70’s Classics. Great way to end the day. You will be tapping your toe or singing along in no time!

4.00pm Tasman Turtle Says Goodbye
