In the postage stamp dedicated to the Lithuania Army depicted armored vehicles and tankers of our army in 1918-1940; in the postage stamp dedicated to Lithuanian diplomacy is depicted the first Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Minister of Lithuania Jurgis Šaulys, who contributed significantly to the restoration of Lithuania’s Independence; Postage stamp for Lithuanian courts depicts Elena Jackevičiūtė - the first woman judge in an independent Lithuania; in the postage stamp for the Government of the Republic of Lithuania is a historical photo of the First Government of the Republic of Lithuania, at the meeting of Prime Minister Augustine Voldemar cabinet.

Although women have been able to contribute to the management of the state on an equal basis with men for a century, the path to this victory was not an easy one. The first organised movement of women fighting for equal rights and suffrage began in 1905. That’s when the Unification of Lithuanian Women to Defend Women’s Rights was created in Vilnius, to fight for women’s right to vote and to create an opportunity for them to participate in the restoration of an independent state. It was only 13 years later – on 2 November 1918 – that women received the right to vote, when it was enshrined in the temporary constitution.

The first post stamps of the Republic of Lithuania were printed at night from 25 to 26 December 1918 in vilnius at Martynas Kukta’s printing office. They were on sale at December 27 in 1918.
