Galleon A Ground Floor The entrance is in the right hand corner of the North Reception.

Galleon B Ground Floor The entrance is directly ahead of you as you enter the North Reception

Galleon C Ground Floor On entering the North Reception, turn left and the entrance is along the corridor on the right

Visualisers are available in the rooms.

We can confirm that Lecturecast is available for events in the Royal National Hotel. The capture here will

include audio, computer and visualiser output, but no video of the lecturer.

Please note, recording of lectures in these rooms requires the use of the standard Lecturecast scheduling

procedure. This requires a confirmed room booking and the use of the Lecturecast Scheduling tool to

schedule the event. Full details on scheduling a Lecturecast event can be found at

What support will be available to me at the venue?

ISD Meet & Greet staff will be on hand for the start of lectures in external spaces throughout Terms 1 & 2 to

help with any AV/IT issues. Meet & Greet staff will also act as a point of contact and will feedback any

comments about the venue to UCL Estates so that addressable problems can be promptly resolved.

UCL Estates staff will drop-in at various external venues throughout October for quality assurance

purposes to ensure a smooth start to Term 1.

Who do I contact if I have a problem on the day?

ISD Meet & Greet staff will be on hand for the start of lectures in external spaces throughout Terms 1 & 2.

They should be your first point of contact.

There is a phone on the Reception desk in the lobby outside the Galleon rooms. Dial 0 for the switchboard and ask

for the Meetings & Events team, who will arrange assistance with any issues arising during a lecture.

Further practical information

Fire evacuation

Unless you hear otherwise from us there are no planned fire evacuations.

The fire assembly point is in front of UCL Institute of Education.

Location of toilets

The toilets in the North side of the building are in 3 locations;

1. Ground floor disabled toilet (radar key required)

2. Mezzanine Floor left stair’s access – men’s & women’s

3. Mezzanine Floor right stair’s access – men’s & women’s
