North East India remained backward in the field of communications and in this region connectivity is very poor.
Technology Plan
Various developmental plans and schemes have been launched in this area to make connectivity easier and possible.
These projects provide internet
connectivity.
IT (Information technology) training
have been provided in schools and colleges.
Services like birth and death registrations,
utilities, bill payments, and official
correspondence to the Government can be
provided at these centres electronically.
These projects will help North East India in growing technically as
well. It’s very important these days to be tech ready as the work can be done easily and connectivity is
not an issue.
