It is 1961 and Faema writes an important page in its own history and in thatof espresso coffee machines by introducing the model E61 to the market.

Thanks to its innovative technical solutions, the E61 becomes immediately very popular among the espressoprofessionals. Actually, if, in addition to a technology that is revolutionary for its time, one then adds achassis with an innovative and elegant design, it is understandable how the E61 marked a turning point inthe history of coffee machines thus becoming a legend.

To celebrate the extraordinary success of the E61, Faema presents a celebratory version of its jewel: theE61 Legend. Though built maintaining the original design and materials, the E61 Legend featuresupdated technical devices in order to comply with the current safety standards and with the technologicalevolution. Produced in two and three group versions, the E61 Legend is characterized by anautomatic boiler fill, a volumetric pump, two pressure gauges, to control the pump and the boilerpressure, and an adjustable thermal balancing system to calibrate each group water temperature to theorganoleptic characteristics of different coffee blends.

Pushed by the success obtained in Italy and by the great interest stirred up in international markets, Faemaintroduces the automatic version of the E61 model. Even though maintaining the E61 Legend aesthetic and technological characteristics, the E61 Jubiléhas been updated by employing electronic solutions, which allow dosing the coffee and hot waterselections.
