In new construc:on, the Matrix Tilerequires a recessed floor in the tenantspace of approximately 15cm, such asseeninthephotographhere.TheMatrix Tile systemcanalsobeusedinadap:vereuseprojects.Inthatcase,astep of approximately 15cm is requiredfrom the public corridor “up” to thefinishedfloorleveloftheapartments.This can be done by raising the publiccorridor floor level (between fire stairsand elevator), or at each apartment. Inthe laGer case, a small ves:bule insidetheapartmentfrontdoorcanbeheldatthecorridorfloorlevel,withastepuptothefinishflooroftheapartment.
